If the head of state Milatović was thinking of a way to cheer up the "Kavčans", the political, propaganda, NGO, institutional or financial wing, after the last major action of SDT threw them into despair and depression - he would not have found a better move than the sudden announcement that he was leaving PES ! With the arrest of the top or one of the two heads of the Grand Clan, who after a decade and a half became the patron or owner of a whole series of parties, media, non-governmental organizations, institutions - wails and tears due to an irreparable loss flooded the pages of Pobjeda and its sister publications. In order for the smile to return to their faces, and for new enthusiasm to flow into analyzes and propaganda, something major had to happen, like Milatović's announcement that he was pulling the anchor from the Europe Now Movement.
This removed the only or the biggest obstacle on the way to closer cooperation between PES and DPS, which is not me saying, but the months-long narrative of the "crooked" analytics that invented reasons to attack Jakov, and heroically and silently accepted the numerous slaps he gave them. shared by Mickey. All with the aim of restoring the system with the elements of governance that Milatović himself described in his farewell letter: mudslinging instead of transparency, single-mindedness instead of dialogue, idolatry instead of integrity, ignorance instead of competence and false Europeanism instead of true values.
The DPS and the entire staff that replaced "miloism" with "spikeism" can toast, with champagne, in a similar way as they poured down the Law on Freedom of Religion back in 2019, or 8 years earlier, the alliance of Đukanović and Vučić, DPS and SNS, the relations between Montenegro and Serbia have never been better.
The same intelligence that climbed the Pinka repeater to the top of the Service Service building, to culturally and propaganda humiliate Montenegro, the same forces that since the referendum carried the idea of a private instead of a democratic state, the same lying NGO that defended the DPS with grants for a decade and a half from embarrassing intellectuals and media, this same Bemax, BB Solar and Skijalište 1450, spitting Milo, Gvozdo and Ćoćo in the form of Blaž, Marko and Luka, can celebrate and extend their hands to Mickey and Momčil, the Executive and Main Board of PES, because - there is no more Jacob. The only or biggest obstacles to return Montenegro to the factory settings and instead of the promised transparency revive Petr Ivanovic, instead of the dialogue between Rocen and Boxer, instead of the integrity of Dralje and Tamara, instead of the competence of Migo and Milović, and instead of the European values of Ivan Vuković and Miša Laković.
This is how things look from the point of view of the head of state and co-founder of PES.
From the opposite camp, Mickey and company swear that they are for dialogue and not for unanimity, for transparency and not for mudslinging, for institutions and not for the mafia, for the competent and not for the good... Although they don't have many examples to convince us of the proclaimed, they mention the census, the voting of judicial officials, the pacification of the opposition and the bridging of social divisions. The only or main thing that PES blames on Milatović is his concern for personal promotion, not for social values and progress. In truth, the responsibility of yesterday's deputy president for the described situation in PES and society cannot be ignored either. And why, in a short period of time, the European Movement became the leader's party from a democratic party, why instead of transparently making important decisions both in the party and in the government, everything started to be completed over the phone, why instead of swearing in the independence of institutions, "Milović" brand tear gas was thrown at SDT and the security sector , or why instead of professional media, PES started to affirm helpful services and pleasant questions - Spajić is not the only one to blame. Part of the responsibility lies with Milatović himself. Especially because he easily left the leadership of the party to brother Milojko even after his political suicide with dual citizenship. Then PES, and not just Mickey himself, was led to disappear, which would have happened if Milatović had not jumped into the fire bare-handed. Whether because of self-love, which Spajki accuses him of, or because of political naivety, mostly Milatović believed that, after the classic knockout of Đukanović in the presidential elections, GO PES would ask Jakov to take over the party from the hands of the then wasted and deceitful Milojko. Pljevljak, however, proved to be more skilled in intra-party combinations, so that he was resurrected and kept control over the party and the situation. Everything else is history.
But, whatever the causes, this split of the PES youth should be celebrated because it is healing, much more for democracy than for Tiger and his. Recently, former Prime Minister Marković also noted that the opposition puts itself in a subordinate position because "it does not work on the plan of winning power and gaining trust, but its goal is to enter the existing government." Mickey himself, in his guest appearance on the Service Service, promoted exactly that principle - bujrum, to anyone who knocks on the Government's door. Why shouldn't all of them, thinking of Bosniaks, as well as other opposition parties, be part of the Government, said the Prime Minister and leader of PES. Not knowing what he was actually talking about. That's why, no matter how happy Milatović's exit from the party was at first, both PES and DPS, and Mickey and Milo, and Bojović and Tiger, in the long run it will prove to be an effective remedy for the revitalization of Montenegrin democracy. First, with the exit of Milatović from PES, we automatically get cohabitation at the top of the government. Second, the fact that the head of state is currently the most popular politician will also lead to the strengthening of the opposition bloc, to which he already belongs, even though he does not yet have a party. Thirdly, this gives us a credible opposition not unlike the deceased DPS or the former DF, an opposition that will persist in defending the fundamental values that Milatović himself spoke about in his farewell message. Transparency instead of mudslinging, integrity instead of idolatry, dialogue instead of directives, competence instead of ignorance, justice instead of the mafia, and a democratic state instead of private.
Although Milatović's behavior so far shows that he is closer to the Western than to the Oriental concept of governance, time will tell who will be stronger and more skilled in this competition. The case of Đukanović and Vučić shows that those two things do not have to coincide and that those who are responsible leaders and devotees of democracy do not have to be those who are the most popular with voters. Unfortunately, it is often the other way around. But whatever, it is less important who will profit more, Jakov or Mickey, politically after their separation, it is much more important that Montenegro finally has a credible and strong opposition. Its leader is already Milatović. It remains for DPS and BS to enter the Government and for everything to be completed and clarified.
