Montenegrin space planners have neglected the traffic segment for years, especially when it comes to parking spaces. The problems with parking are particularly pronounced in Podgorica and on the coast since the interested construction lobby took over the design.
Since then, not a single day passes without some "epoch proposal" about underground garages appearing. Each new government promises a solution to the parking problem, and then during the four years of its mandate, it does not even create a project.
Then the newly elected city administration repeats the same story, the problems just pile up and are pushed under the carpet, and in the meantime the number of cars increases drastically.
Similar problems are faced by many cities in the developed world, but, unlike ours, they are looking for different and better solutions than underground garages.
One of these is the rotary parking system, which is a safe, affordable and cost-effective solution, easy to implement. It is a system for parking all types of cars that saves space as much as possible. It allows parking of up to 16 SUVs or 20 limousines, in just two conventional 6x6m spaces.
By entering a code or swiping a card, the system can automatically recognize your vehicle and find a faster path to land, clockwise or counter-clockwise. The saving of space is ten times greater than in a traditional parking lot, the car collection time is short, and handling is simple.
Installation is simple and takes an average of five days, including digging a rectangular hole for the 4x4m reinforced foundation and the power supply.
The system works quietly, the return on investment is fast, and the facility is safe. It is certified for winds up to 10 Beaufort and earthquakes up to eight degrees Mercali. In the event of a power failure, a mechanical manual system is started.
Should the need for relocation and reinstallation arise, the steel structure and control system can be relocated quickly and easily.
The spectrum of application is wide, including public areas, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping centers... The advantage of this system is the possibility of opening a large number of profitable jobs. If the license is purchased, this system could be produced in Montenegro by Željezara and Metalac in Nikšić, and the best mechanical equipment is "Sedmi avgust" in Podgorica.
