After the communist apparatchik and Russian agent Slobodan Milošević overthrew the SK of Serbia in 1988, one of the former champions of the Belgrade Committee, Buca Pavlović, defined the leader's policy with the phrase "lightly promised speed". Later, under that title, he also published a book about the coup. It turned out to be a tragedy for the Serbs, and it turned out that Pavlović was right. Everything that Milosevic lightly promised the people of heaven, and they believed even more easily, did not happen - instead of the big state they had, they got the smallest one possible, instead of EU membership, they are still wandering between Russia and China, and instead of economic progress and prosperity, they are competing with Montenegrins, whose average salary is higher in which month.
A similar thing happened with PES and Spajić. The lightly promised speed led them to a shipwreck in Budva, and it could also mean at the level of Montenegro. Because in politics, as in other business, the most important trend is. It seems as if Spajić and his party are in a free fall, where even the brakes are not helping. And where eventual recovery and transition from minus to plus phase is very rare, almost impossible.
If Miloš Bešić performed on the election night as an official of PES, then he did not defend the indefensible as badly, and turned the defeat into a draw, as Vučić did in his performance at the UN. If he presented as an analyst, as he presented himself, then bad for him and his profession. Therefore, Professor Bešić also knows, but it is not fair for him to betray his friend and tell the truth - it was not PES that brought down Srebrenica, but Milojko.
Long, long before the elections in Budva, Mickey set out on a path that the now deceased Buca Pavlović would have defined in the same way - lightly promised speed.

As wise as Spajić was when he decided to put one diagnostician and another surgeon at the head of the PES, he turned out to be so foolish later with the conclusion that a surgeon is enough for the party, and that he can cut without a diagnosis, even without anesthesia .
Epilogue: the collapse of Spajić's presidential candidacy, for which he still blames Vučić's regime, DPS and DF in RIK, and does not see the only culprit - himself.
But even after that setback, there was a chance for PES to survive - it was only necessary that after the triumph of novice Milatović over the hardened autocrat Đukanović in the presidential elections, Spajić and his comrades called for wisdom and replaced the easy-going surgeon at the head of the party with a geek and a diagnostician.
The newly born PES, however, showed that it is more like a political dinosaur (DPS) which instead of discussion and exchange of arguments functions according to the model - the boss knows best! And the rest of the party has nothing to complain about. And they think.
And now there's a new white. The lightly promised speed of Spikey and Cottrell, politicians and gamblers, led PES into the wrong campaign for the parliamentary elections. Although it was clear to the sparrows on the branch that the formation of a civic block (PES, Democrats, Hurrah) was a winning combination, Mickey decided to perform independently. The spoils are not easily shared, and gambler Cottrell calculated a minimum of 44 percent of votes for him on June 11, which meant that there was no reason to invite Aleksa and Dritan to the table.
And there is white again. Instead of the desired scenario in which two political Methuselahs, DPS and DF, will be sent to the opposition, Spajić and PES are entering a post-election situation in which it is Andrija or Milo who hold the key and dictate the conditions for the new government.
Mickey then managed to form a majority with Mandić in the photo finish, believing that he had him under control, as Milo claimed the same for Vučić for eight years and longer. It turns out that by marrying Andrija, Mickey actually ended up in the arms of Alexander of Serbia, not his puppets in Montenegro. It turns out that that hug was deadly for Mickey. And that AV ate it for breakfast. It didn't take him years and years like Milo.
Everyone serious saw that Spajić was going astray, except for himself. And a strategist all around. It turns out that politics is neither a travel agency, nor office supplies, nor a stock exchange or a casino. Despite everything, Spajić continued to tread, not giving up on the concept - lightly promised speed. He even lost touch with reality so much that he started disciplining Vijesti, ignoring NGOs, and then started playing tricks on Western partners. Spajki is well on his way to, like his predecessor Abazović, breaking the trust of Brussels and Washington. Đukanović needed decades to achieve the same effect. Milo killed himself and went astray at the end of his career, and they, Mickey and Dritko, at the beginning.
That is why neither the misuse of resources, which the NGO sector was silent on, nor the official campaign, which the ASK turned a blind eye on, helped the Prime Minister and the PES in Budva, nor the return of the Luka to the citizens two days before the silence, as Dritan, according to the same model, did not help the revival of Do Kwon ahead of the parliamentary elections. Spajić fell on his head and it is hard to imagine that he can get up and stand firmly on his feet. It was sad to watch the holder of the list, Zenović, give a farewell speech on election night without the presence of any minister or member of the PES presidency. That's how politics in a month consumes what man has created for years.
Everything that was seen in Budva will only be confirmed in Andrijevica. And then September awaits us. The majority in Podgorica is unsustainable, so we have elections in the capital very soon. The opposition is already asking for extraordinary parliamentary elections, while Milan Knežević is waiting with the entire wish list of the Serbian world. It seems like an impossible mission for Spajki's political survival in those conditions without new, extraordinary elections. The most tragic thing is that the right-wing led by Vučić enters the great unraveling on the political scene with a whole body and from a much better starting position than the dismembered and executed civil block. The only hope for Spajić, but also for Bečić and Abazović, the leaders of less numerous nations, is the gathering under the umbrella of the head of state, who, at least at the moment, is the only one of them who has the political weight to oppose the leader of the Serbian world. The chances of such a turnaround happening are the same as Djokovic winning Roland Garros.
The future of Montenegro is thus stuck between the vanity and frustration of the two leaders, Spajić and Đukanović, and their two parties, which function as the services of Milo and Milojko. The lightly promised speed of improvement without a program, an election victory without a campaign, an operation without diagnosis and strategy, pushes Montenegro into Vučić's jaws. If the leaders of the so-called civil parties continue to keep their heads in the sand and blame the other for all defeats and setbacks, and do not see their own performance - it is a bad sign for society and citizens. It's unfortunate, and everything could have turned out quite differently if it hadn't been for the lightly promised speed.
