I hope that 2.500 performers of folklore choreography had a paid weekend in Belgrade. It would be best if the parties that organized the assembly paid for this feat, and the worst would be if the cultural and artistic societies paid for this feat from the already small membership fees, the performers' parents or the performers themselves. It is acceptable that these costs were borne equally by the Republic of Serbia, the Republika Srpska and the Serbian Orthodox Church. In this way, the aforementioned actors who consider themselves key to the preservation of national identity and culture would show their responsibility towards the community.
It is clear to those familiar with the work of cultural and artistic societies that this assembly will be remembered as one of the worst organized performances by performers of folklore choreography, a performance that breaks the ice in the hosting season this summer. Namely, performing at 5:30 a.m. on the practicable stage space without finishing and without a cover is not the most pleasant experience for playing in opans, nor for the performance of those games in which a silk costume is not used, which is what we are talking about in this case.
Journalists from media houses that attended the event of the All-Serbian Parliament, including the media of the regime and the so-called anti-regime media, they missed the opportunity to talk with the key actors of Saturday's happening. All the squads, without exception, recognized Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia and Milorad Dodik, President of the Republic of Srpska as key performers in the program of the All-Serbian Parliament. So we didn't find out, and we won't find out, how satisfied the performers of folklore choreography are with that happening, people who have knowledge, experience and skills recognized by the so-called "Serbian world" both in the country and in the diaspora, people without whom - even if it is obvious - the simulation of protection and preserving the identity, culture and nationality of the Serbs could not even be presented to a wider audience.
So here we are, in another stationary peripatetic show of the highest-paid performers in the Serbian world, in another show of a well-known duo who privately, party-wise and lobbyistly dispose of the entire resources of the "Serbian world", a phenomenon whose creators and leaders they are, and who could not gather even 7 people. And here we are before the conclusion that in the "Serbian world" they have something, have something at their disposal, decide something, deal with something concrete, only those who have no intention of participating in the "all-Serbian parliament".
What could the assembly bring? Nothing more and nothing less than what you saw. A meeting of two performers for whom performance is a means of work, whose political career is reduced to the interpretation of a dramatic text that they are now presenting to us. Such and such a dramatic text in which - you have seen it yourself, i.e. have read - there is no room for dialogue, neither with the public nor with the wider social community.
In political terms, the mentioned text is nothing more than a formulation of the preferences of the key actors of a policy. Considering the entire infrastructure that these two performers manage, the response was too insignificant for the criteria for the formulation of the preferences of Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik to be so much discussed in the mass media. Again, the publicity they got (considering the turnout) was frighteningly high. Numerous critics of the text interpreted by these two performers show that their performance is not in vain, because it nevertheless provokes reactions, which for two hardened reactionaries is the greatest gift they have. The size of the crowd gathered by that reaction shows something more about the role of valid criticism of that text. We are talking about that mix of games. The All-Serbian Assembly is a manifestation that insists on this mix of games. The semblance of dominance of two performers from the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia in the company of numerous antagonists.
A series of performances and a series of simulations ended with the conclusion that Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik have the power to subjugate two national assemblies that will only raise a sufficient number of hands for whatever they decide. This time they are so serious that they even decided what no one expected: that an airport will be built in Trebinje, for example. The only two things we didn't know so far were that there were only a few thousand people attending that show, and a few politicians who, for one reason or another, found themselves humiliated and offended, like exhausted sailors who came forward to give wind to idle and fallen albatrosses or at least to notice the flowers of evil in the neighboring yard.
An appeal should be made that such events are organized indoors, that they are not paid for with taxpayers' money, that the performers of the program are paid fairly from the party's coffers...
