On other occasions, it would be a gift from heaven to a necrophilic culture like Serbia: if, say, a woman and a young man lost their lives in a terrible accident on a local road, together with their three children, and only his wife and the mother of the dead children. In a culture that lives on death, the bloodthirsty media, death-thirsty tabloids and disastrous politicians would live with this unfathomably horrible news for at least a month.
Everything in the story about the terrible accident on the Ibar highway near Kraljevo, in which a car with six passengers was crushed, was as if made up for the Serbian tabloids: a) under the giant wheels of a heavy special vehicle with which b) a drunk driver swerved into the opposite lane, it was crushed and killed c) almost the entire family from Raška headed by father Daniel L., d) a young member of the Serbian Army, who took his wife and children e) on a trip and prayer to the Studenica monastery that day. If the editors were asked, the only thing missing for an ideal tabloid news would be for all of this to happen on some kind of red date from the church calendar, so the tragedy finally really happened on f) Our Lady's day.
On other occasions, I said, the necrophilic Serbian culture would have lived on that story for weeks and months. The Assembly of Serbia would urgently declare a day of mourning, maybe even three, officials of SNS and the state leadership would gather in Raška, Patriarch Porfirije would hold a memorial service in the temple of Saint Sava, televisions would interrupt the program, the crying presenters of the morning programs would be drained mascara from the eyes, President Aleksandar Vučić would also cry while talking about little angels, all the Serbian tabloids would come out in black, and we would know everything disturbing as soon as tomorrow! and shocking! details of the terrible accident, all about the drunken monster behind the wheel and his family seven generations back.
And yet, for some reason, that didn't happen this time. The state leadership was silent, the party leadership was also silent, even President Vučić did not speak, in Kraljevo instead of a day of mourning, the announced concert of Jelena Karleuša was held, and Kurir, Alo and other stable manure from newsagents placed the news of the unprecedented tragedy in remote corners of its covers, along with exclusives about Karleuša's ex-husband, the fraudulent Rajić brothers and the "bumps" discovered on the chest by Jovana Jeremić. Just as if a drunk driver on the Ibar highway crushed five glasses in a bar, not five people on the road.
The angle from which the Serbian media saw the tragedy caught the eye of an interested observer. And no, I'm not referring to the lower right corner of the front page: to everyone without exception, namely, the main character of the news was the unfortunate woman who survived, who, well, in a fraction of a second "lost her husband and three children" and "was left without everything she had had".
However, how did she suddenly "lose" her family, how did she suddenly "be left" with nothing?
Eh, how.
Perhaps we would also learn something more about this, perhaps according to the good custom of the Serbian boulevard press, we would actually learn more about it than it is possible to know at all, if only the drunken killer from the opposite direction, just like his innocent victim, was not a member of the Army of Serbia.
And that the special vehicle with which the drunk driver crushed the car with six people was not in fact the PASARS-16 armored vehicle from the Serbian Army convoy, a seventeen-ton hybrid anti-aircraft self-propelled short-range artillery-missile system.
And that the drunken driver of the anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery-missile system did not smash that civilian car just one day after the Serbian Armed Forces held a magnificent parade on the runway of the "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" military airport in Batajnica, where the proud president boasted of more than a thousand weapons, tools and equipment of the Serbian military force, including, of course, the powerful PASARS anti-aircraft artillery-missile systems, the fear and trembling of Šiptar and the Ustasha.
And that the tragedy on the Ibar highway did not happen only one day after the Government of the Republic of Serbia reached a conclusion on the formation of a working group for the re-introduction of mandatory military service, from which, as President Vučić explained that evening, "the cities and municipalities in which are the barracks".
And that all this did not happen exactly on the day when Aleksandar Vučić, straight from the military parade and the Government session on the introduction of conscription, traveled to New York, to the session of the United Nations General Assembly, where he will once again, for the umpteenth time, lay down his young life for beloved Serbia.
It could have happened to anyone, anything and at any time, but it should not have happened that a member of the Serbian Armed Forces at the helm of the powerful Serbian PASARS killed an entire family on the very day Vučić introduced mandatory military service. and traveled to the session of the United Nations General Assembly, exactly at the minute - on Saturday at 13.25:XNUMX p.m. - when the Air Serbia plane with the president took off from Surčin to New York!
And if the editors of the Serbian stable manure had not been in shock themselves, there is no doubt that we would have already found out how the terrorists from Šiptar and the deep false state are behind everything. How else can one explain that highly trained personnel of the Serbian air defense at the wheel of a state-of-the-art armored vehicle of domestic production, on the very day of the introduction of military service and President Vučić's trip to New York, suddenly turned into the left lane and crushed a civilian vehicle with six people? How else to explain the incredible coincidence that the day before the parade in Batajnica, there were also heavy PASARS-16, which was returning to the barracks in Raška on the Ibar highway, and a member of the Serbian Army Danijel L., who was driving a Ford in the opposite direction. , that both the murderer and the victim, both from the garrison in Raška, were lined up in front of President Vučić yesterday? Maybe as one of those "special benefits" that "the cities and municipalities where the barracks are located" will have?!
In all other circumstances, the bloodthirsty Serbian media, death-thirsty tabloids and disastrous politicians would have lived for at least a month. In this way, necrophiliac Serbia remained hungry: there were no days of mourning, no public mourning, no patriarchal liturgy, no parade of the party and state leadership in front of the house of the bereaved, no spilled mascara in the morning programs, no tabloids in black, no exclusive reports on private life and the sexual preferences of the "monster from Ibarska magistrala". Neither the President, nor the Government, nor the Ministry of Defense, nor the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces have spoken out about the terrible accident caused by a vehicle belonging to the Serbian Armed Forces.
Jelena Karleuša held her concert in Kraljevo the next day in the most normal way, Partizan and Crvena zvezda played their "eternal derby" in the most normal way, progressive Serbia with its seven-mile strides overcame the accident like a seventeen-ton armored car over an old Ford, and the media was on the headlines during that time. parties, and in prime time, zealously reported on the historic battle of Aleksandar Vučić against the Shiptar terrorists on the East River.
Serbian so-called journalists asked the president in New York about everything and anything, about Kosovo and the opposition and lithium and the budget rebalancing and Serbia's investment rating, only about the terrible accident on the Ibar highway - in which the modernized Serbian Army, as a leader in the region, killed two people and three small children - they didn't have a single question. In the end, Aleksandar Vučić had to post a review of "week with the President" on his Instagram profile, a dead cold day after the tragedy, announcing that he was "proud of the modernization of the Serbian army".
Life continued on its way: the very next day, on the highway Užice-Zlatibor - as is always customary - a woman was killed in a direct collision with a concrete mixer tank, in Dragobrača near Kragujevac, an old man on a bicycle was run over by a truck belonging to the Public Utility Company Šumadija, and in the large hall of the General Assembly of the United Nations, the President of Serbia delivered a "historical speech that left the great powers speechless."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not going to represent Serbia today," said Aleksandar Vučić in front of the silent great powers, "I'm not going to talk about our successes and high growth rate, because I have the opportunity to brag about the results we've achieved in my own country."
