The team that rules our lives tramples us every day, but it is especially interesting the passion with which they degrade our dignity. Is it normal for the state to organize a campaign in which it invites us to have children because we will receive money for each newborn child. Just tread freely. We learned a long time ago to keep quiet. However, learn once and for all, children are created for love, not for money.
There is no money that would make someone embark on a project for the first, second, third... child, and that's what you're telling us on the small screen. Sometimes I wonder, do people in power know what love is? Have they ever felt her in that full fervor and heat. I'm not referring to the love that one of the ministers recently talked about under the dome of the parliament, referring to the love for women. Well, children are born from that love, not because of the money that will go to the parents' account.
I know that there will be soul-stirring people who will say that there are situations about the so-called unwanted pregnancies, but I'm not talking about that topic here. I just want to say loud and clear that it is the right, above all, of women to decide what and how to proceed.
But let's get back to the topic. The state is calling us through the small screens to rebuild demographically and gives us money for a successfully completed task. Unfortunately for me, due to the force of circumstances and the number of years, I am close to becoming a grandfather, it is a little late for a father. I always wanted to have four children.
I stopped halfway. There is no money that my Vera and I did not use for unsuccessful IVFs, one of which was abroad. Many couples have double-digit attempts and do not give up. Couples in Serbia are ready to sell everything they have in order to have children. I'm sure that everyone in turn would agree not to receive state aid, but to have children.
The fact that the state gives money is no security for the future. No one can guarantee that future for our children, but the state is obliged to do everything to ensure the opportunity for a safe life.
Let's start from the beginning.
From health centers. When a happy couple finds out they are going to become parents, the first step is to go to the doctor. It is known what the procedure is. And then it happens that the health center doesn't do ultrasounds, so couples usually end up in private homes. And then begins the financial exhaustion that lasts for years.
If the state cared about the birth rate, maternity hospitals would resemble space shuttles, not casabas from a bygone era.
The food for pregnant women would be like that in the favorite restaurant of this government where foreign journalists had to comply with the situation that their bill was paid.
A country that cares about the birth rate provides a sufficient number of crèches and kindergartens with quality staff, to which children would flock and could not wait to come. And that's how we get to school. To our shame and shame, they are no longer safe either. Does anyone else in this country remember what happened in Ribnikar on May 3? Another school year started without anyone saying a word about Ribnikar.
Every day we witness violence in schools, from the lowest to the highest grades. We send children to school as if to a battlefield.
Nobody respects teachers anymore. Neither the children, nor the parents, and by God, they don't respect themselves anymore, because they are so humiliated and humiliated that it is completely understandable. The state still keeps educators below the average salary level.
Why?
Is it intentional or is there really no money? There is hardly any money. They are there every day in Surčin, they are crammed into stadiums, dolphinariums, flying cars with excavators. The Government's General Secretariat has received more money to spend by the end of the year than the education system will ever see from this government.
Well, then we come to a situation where our children go to study or to wind cables. Those who go to study, if they have not already gone abroad to study, then they will go abroad to work, because they do not want to subordinate their acquired knowledge and skills to membership in ruling parties.
In this country, it is not worth being a doctor, engineer, architect, lawyer, economist, if you are not a member. Our education brings benefits in Serbia only with a membership card. And by the time the child grows up, money from the state has long been spent on diapers, baby equipment, notebooks, books, snacks, excursions, private lessons... So stop those senseless videos.
You would have better used the money from the failed campaign to upgrade a few rooms in maternity hospitals. Thus you would do a good deed.
