Montenegro is entering a special era. The famous October 5, which happened in Serbia in 2000, and August 30, which happened in Montenegro in 2020, are not comparable. First of all, because of the crowd on the streets, ways, wars, tensions, election theft and overall reasons and circumstances. But something similar is happening, what happened after October 5, and what is happening now in Montenegro with a delay. Party media are springing up like mushrooms, and there is every chance that they will continue to sprout.
But to prevent the same thing from happening, we can draw a stereotype about the laziness of Montenegrins and say that new media are not emerging, but old ones are easily bought. It is strange that the ideology of a media can change overnight, and that 98 percent of employees remain doing the same job, they just changed targets and financiers. This speaks about journalism, integrity, humanity and in general the ideas that certain media represent. It seems that the media is a weapon, the only question is how much to pour and in which direction to aim.
We have seen that many politicians block in front of journalists, that they do not know how to handle themselves when they are drilled by journalists, but their impulse is interesting, that instead of continuing to fight, first of all with themselves, to be better, more responsible and practice oratory, they they rush to other media. That is why there are good prospects for each party to open its own media, which will serve them like a Facebook page. It would be fair if certain portals should also indicate which party is behind them, because it is so obvious who is behind them.
But why does the media spring up so easily in Montenegro? Because Vijesti knows how to trample on politicians, so they collectively get angry and cancel their visit. DPS did that in the first place, and later they realized how much it cost them. Because it is easy to open a new medium, but it is difficult to turn such a medium into an influential and well-read portal or newspaper overnight.
That's why it's a shame that the song Clickbait was dropped, because it's a new way of journalism in Montenegro. There will only be spitting, there will be unsigned texts, pseudonyms and scribbles. There will be airing of dirty laundry, and the parties that fund such portals will pretend to be crazy and, of course, will say that they have nothing to do with editing.
And that's not journalism, it's not editing. It even says "do you have someone to guide me through this". Management is the right word, just as someone manages a page on social networks, so will a new portal. Let all like-minded people get ready for the methods that used to be known as "One minute, two". Now, in a click or two, they will meet some new people.
What does that lead to? You have to remember how he got confused Djukanovic in front of the questions Nikola Marković, once when he had to sit across from someone who didn't tell him what he was going to ask. He got confused because for decades he served himself questions, and answered them as he pleased. The same will happen with new politicians and parties. If they reopen their portals and newspapers, they will not practice answering real questions, everything will become like a bulletin board, until the moment they have to come to someone who wants to really ask them something.
Montenegro is slowly entering the era of party journalism. It will be dirty and there will be rolling in the mud. When we think that we are immune to what has already happened to others, it turns out that we are no different and that there are matrices for everything. But it seems that nothing will stop the new parties from having their own media, although they are unaware of how disastrous it is in the long run for both the country and themselves.
