Let's go one more time: the students demand the publication of complete documentation on the reconstruction of the Railway Station in Novi Sad. They demand the discovery and punishment of those responsible for the attack on the students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. They are asking for an increase in the percentage of funding from the budget for education. And they demand the immediate release of all citizens who were detained during non-violent protests and the withdrawal of unfounded reports. The government persistently ignores it. And that's why there are more and more people on the streets. More and more faculties across Serbia are entering the blockades.
Although there is arrogance and expression of power in the behavior of the regime, it is clearly fear! That's how it usually happens, when citizens are freed, the government becomes more and more afraid. This time, they fear with reason that the publication of the documentation on the reconstruction of the Railway Station would make it quite obvious how they are being built and how it is incorporated into business. They know it would be the image of a corrupt government. It is quite clear to those who still refuse to see what the chain of command in dealings with the state looks like, why contracts are hidden and declared secret, how deals are concluded without tenders and elaborations and subcontractors of subcontractors close to this or that politician are hired. Finally, it would be verifiable whether this ongoing investigation is another farce. And they just don't want it. That is why they refuse to fulfill the demands of the students. That is why they do not admit that the attackers of citizens and students are party soldiers and local officials on assignment.
However, with repression and manipulations, they might somehow solve all of this if their even greater fear that "they want to overthrow the government" is not behind everything! This fear permeates all politicians' statements and dominates the analysts who have remained at the service of the ruling party as its last defense. That fear has become a nightmare for the most visible representatives of the regime, the media that serve them, and the president in particular. And that's why his message box got hot. All instructions, apparently, come from one place. All the key messages that are distributed and repeated like parrots, all the orchestrated actions of thugs, enraged drivers, local officials who attack citizens and the flood of Botovian, identical posts and comments... They don't even bother to hide their tracks anymore, there is so much fear. They don't fear anything anymore. They voyeuristically follow young people around the parks in order to collect some footage for the evening newspaper to which they can give false content. They even forced RTS to publish an obvious fake news in the evening newspaper about students arguing in the park at night about the distribution of money. Because their obsessive fear is colored revolutions.
And the biggest unknown, young people. And while they figure out how to compromise their rebellion, which is slowly but steadily growing, they try to close ranks and encourage their supporters with the results of research on the overwhelming support for Vučić. To assure them that everything is fine, but everyone feels that it is not. That is why the progressive machinery has now focused on what it knows best, on underground works, brokering and increased compromising actions. They accuse the professors and the opposition of abusing children and students for political purposes, of carrying out the Macedonian scenario of overthrowing the government and causing conflict, inventing that the students received money and that they are working according to the recipe from the Blokadni kuvar brochure, that the Croatian intelligence service is behind everything... They started to wake up their cadres in the student parliaments and incite internal conflict, trying to accuse the plenum participants of being without a legitimate majority, of being interested in politics and functions... But, despite all that the rebellion is spreading. As the professor of the Faculty of Chemistry said, a chain reaction has started.
