The meeting of the leaders of the opposition parties from Republika Srpska - SDS, PDP and the Justice and Order List - with the top of the HDZ BiH in Kupres lasted three hours and, judging by the statements of the participants, everyone is satisfied. Except for Milorad Dodik. The leader of the SNSD, a fugitive from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and also the proud winner of the first-instance verdict of the Court of BiH for disrespecting the decisions of the High Representative in our country, found himself facing an insoluble dilemma: if he is left without personnel at the state level - which seems quite certain - what to do next? So far, he has fought with all his might to participate in the government of a state from which he is trying to seize powers through entity laws, persecuting the opposition and by force, but what now? Who will believe him that the problem is not him, who is followed by a whole retinue of heavily armed police officers, even in Zvornik, where supposedly only those regulations that he personally stamped are valid? And how can one even advocate for survival in a coalition that needs BiH to accelerate its path towards the European Union, to put it back on track for the common progress of the Western Balkans, when it has already publicly stated so many times that the EU is a failed concept and BiH is an impossible state? Then why the frantic grasping for seats in BiH institutions?
According to some information coming from SNSD circles, it is not only Dragan Čović who has changed partners. The speech of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, after the meetings in Brussels, was a significant plea for peace in the Balkans, and although Vučić did not say once who at this moment wants to ignite the region with war, it is clear as day who has recognized himself. After all, the Serbian president sent an unequivocal message through his informer-megaphone: by claiming that a red (Interpol) arrest warrant is already in force against Dodik, he has once again postponed his access to the Government and Parliament in Belgrade, for whose rostrum Milorad has already prepared, with his Draft Entity Constitution that emphasizes the joining of RS - both militarily and territorially - to Serbia?! Vučić knows that this is a cuckoo's egg, Dodik's plan to delegate his own responsibility for the assault on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina across the Drina. Hence his clairvoyance: a red warrant is an inevitable sequence of events, given that Dodik's separatism has become a European and global fact. From those same, well-informed SNSD circles, the idea of Dodik taking a step back, an alleged readiness to give a statement to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, but in Banja Luka, has leaked in recent days? What's the difference, if he already sickly insists on banning the Prosecutor's Office of BiH from operating in the territory of the smaller Bosnian entity?
It should be admitted that this kind of de-escalation of the crisis is quite similar to the President of the RS, we remember the earlier dramas and rescues of Dodik's soldiers, such as the surprise arrival of Catherine Ashton or the engagement of Angelina Eichhorst, who tried hard to minimize his systematic obstruction of our country's Euro-Atlantic integration. We should not be naive, there is still understanding for Dodik in some Brussels circles, which even reach out to Sarajevo, there have been ambitions in recent days to undermine the judiciary in favor of politics, but something has changed, and the most important thing is that Dodik himself has gone so far that it is increasingly clear to both Moscow and Budapest that he is not only manipulating the West, but also lying to the East.
But, speaking of political bargaining, let's stick with his test balloon Nenad Stevandić, the President of the National Assembly and another person on the wanted list. When this bully of the parliamentary rostrum, whose career will undoubtedly be sealed by the public conclusion that the opposition in the RSNA should be killed, decided to come out with an offer to the High Representative Christian Schmidt to jointly withdraw (controversial) laws, the public saw it as another item in his entertainment repertoire. I dare say that Stevandić was extremely serious, no matter how vulgarized all the principles he made. In short, he is actually saying: Mr. Schmidt, withdraw the law that treats the attack on Dayton and peace as a criminal offense, overturn the verdict against Dodik, if necessary, he will even pay the $20.000 (of course, not out of his own pocket) that a year in prison costs, and in return we will throw away everything we have done to fool the people and MPs and the Balkan and world public, and in doing so we will forgive you for being German and forget all the insults that both the President of the RS and his puppets have treated you with?!
Even Milet's test balloon knows that this is an impossible mission today, but what can he do, he was given the task of trying. This is best confirmed by the synchronized - and serious - quoting of Stevandić in all the publications edited by the family from the American blacklist. Milet's public service immediately launched an attack on the Sarajevo media: believe it or not, he accuses us of keeping quiet about the consultations behind closed doors of the UN Security Council on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina?! Not only are we not silent, but even SDA's Edin Ramić heard and read what was happening in New York (it is clear from Bakir Izetbegović's interview for TV Igman that the SDA no longer has any doubts: there are not political, but judicial processes against Dodik). RTRS still triumphantly claims that the new administration, which is Dodik's favorite phrase when he puts on a red cap, does not support the High Representative, but it does not want to say that the countries present in the Security Council almost with disgust refused to discuss the term of the OHR instead of the crisis in BiH, caused by the SNSD leadership's willingness to wage war so that Dodik can save the entity budget for his own account. And they do not even mention the expressed support of the USA for the EUFOR Mission in BiH, just as they do not refer to the unified position of the vast majority of member states for peace, respect for the rule of law, the Constitution of BiH and the Dayton Agreement, with emphasized support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dr. Zlatko Lagumdžija, our ambassador to the UN, therefore announced the time of the denouement, convinced that Dodik and his marathon runners are running the last lap.
Well, speaking of the cult film, it should be noted that Mile is a little nervous. His shares are falling, both at home and abroad. Two weeks ago, when BiH was first discussed at consultations at the UN, the local separatist waved Vladimir Putin, announcing to the whole world that they would meet again on the 19th of this month. It would be the 27th coffee with the Russian president, from whom he has been asking for both support and age-old brotherhood for more than a decade, as evidenced by motorized wolves and money. And he brags with his mouth full that he is getting everything. In return, in the name of Russia - at least that's what he tells us - he stops Euro-Atlantic integration in this part of the world, obstructs the progress of BiH and does not hide his love for his mother to whom he would give everything, as if tomorrow. But then, out of the blue, he offers resources and entity wealth to the hated USA and even boasts that he is ready to deliver the value of 100 billion dollars (he does not say who made the estimate) in one meeting with Trump?! And Kalabukhov was speechless.
I really don't know if Dodik consulted with his Russian brother, whether those consultations or Putin's (shortcomings) canceled the flight to Moscow, and even the phone calls, in the end it doesn't matter, because this move by the SNSD leader actually shows how little he cares about Moscow and Washington. He is ready to reject the former by ceding the entire entity to America, while he tells the latter that he is convinced that the White House's favor is bought with money. How sure he is of that is shown by his latest offer from the pages of Politika - he wants to buy the US Embassy in BiH for the future embassy of RS?! And he has once again confirmed his separatism and attacks on peace. And, really, only someone without any compasses can believe that Russia and the US will fight over him. He must have been thinking similarly when - the other night - he insulted Croats in BiH in a live TV broadcast. And he practically forced Čović to let him down the drain.
