Saša Mujović He has no mafia behind him, no ex-convicts, dealers and thugs. He has no black troika in his pocket, no cigar trucks and speedboats that can reach Bari in an hour. There are no indictments, neither filed nor dismissed. Mujović has neither one nor the other clan in either pocket. He has no satellite party, neither minority nor state-based.
As mayor, Mujović has many inherited and acquired problems, but he is not in the habit of jingling the keys to empty new apartments. Some mayors have jingled the keys to apartments in their jacket pockets whenever they come across a tough nut to crack, proving by jingling that they are willing to buy anyone a new apartment easily.
Mujović, as far as is known, has no godfathers, convicted and prosecuted smugglers and criminals. He does not hang out with any "hairy hand". He does not have a singer lover. He does not have a brother who buys banks, lends hundreds of thousands of euros and establishes Masonic lodges in his spare time. He does not have a frowning lawyer sister to be his legal lightning rod.
Mujović doesn't have a video of him taking a thick envelope full of cash from a businessman. He knows most of the cases and doesn't smell the armpit of his jacket in parliament to "see if he can hear it."
He doesn't push his nephews into diplomacy from Buenos Aires to New York, he doesn't wear watches worth hundreds of thousands of euros. Mujović doesn't own or use any of that. He lives a different life, quite straight, as a professor.
Mujović prevented the poisoning of the people by opening suspicious mines. That was too easy and easily forgotten for him. This is a strange country, without judgment. If Mujović had gone with his sole, if he had been sharp, if he had stepped in a row, perhaps they would have feared him. Because apparently people only know about awe, hence the nicknames Razor and Sheriff for some.
Professors are usually booed by the most ignorant. Insults are like a boomerang, they come back if they are not addressed properly. It is shameless to address Mujović with the words "fascist" and "traitor", to say it on the top of Gorica, on such a day and to him.
Maybe a person will deteriorate over time, maybe he will be the worst, and everyone will boo him in a few years. But for now... there are more appropriate addresses, people, locations and dates for booing and insulting, to throw in the face of others, but he lacks the guts.
It's easiest for Saša to whistle, there will be no retaliation. That's why it was neither brave, fair, nor humane, and ultimately not Montenegrin.
