While photojournalists from "Vijesti" and "Pobjeda" spent hours photographing their "heroic" act of unveiling a monument to a war criminal Pavlo Đurišić, the "muds" present were not bothered by the journalists or the clicking of cameras. The mob attacked them only when, with their tails tucked under their shoulders, they themselves began to remove the statue of their "hero", which had been unveiled (and presumably consecrated) only a few hours earlier. Methods, one of the organizers of this criminal group and the main instigator of the shameful event. Why? So that the whole world wouldn't see what kind of "scumbags" they are. I wonder what their "heroes" would say if they could see how easily they ate what is not edible, fresh, almost as soon as they unloaded it.
They then hid their "hero" in a church (consistently, that's how they hid fugitive war criminals in mouse holes, churches and monasteries in the nineties), as Methodius ordered them, apparently yesterday both God and the stick in the SAO Gornje Zaostro, and soon in the SAO Berane, SAO Nikšić, etc., what not.
But, this is the reality of the ruling Montenegro today, a large part of which openly organizes and encourages all this for the sake of "reconciliation", others persistently remain silent and sympathize, and still others send dumb statements "neither in the name of grandmother nor uncle". I am just waiting for the party of the governor and the chief of staff to announce that the journalists were rightly attacked because the "fools" remembered after a few hours that the statue was being removed from private land, as she tried to defend the arrested owner of that land. Or for the new comrade of the party of the governor and the chief of staff, the Deputy Prime Minister, to announce that it does not concern him, because everything happened in the sovereign fold of the brotherly Serbian people.
Unfortunately, it is still a shameful reality in Montenegro that any fool can attack journalists whenever they feel like it, and in the presence of the state. The beatings, death threats, confiscation and breaking of equipment, everything that dozens of "stupid people" did to two people who together weigh less than a hundred kilos (all of these are criminal acts, especially serious because they are journalists), was calmly observed for more than an hour by two plainclothes police officers, I assume on duty, but maybe I'm wrong - what if they weren't there officially, but with their presence they also glorified the event and refreshed the soul?
I believe that the director of the Police Directorate and the minister's internal control will severely punish them regardless of which of the two is correct, because a police officer is obliged to protect every citizen and prevent the commission of crimes even when he is not on duty. I say I believe, if only because they both told me so in a phone conversation.
Still, I don't understand why there weren't a large number of uniformed police at the event, at least to prevent possible fights and knife-wielding by drunken "Chetniks" equipped with paraphernalia from Bulajić's Partisan films. I don't even understand why the police didn't first inform the public that the entire event would be filmed, and then film it, maybe there would be less "bullshit". And later it wouldn't help to say "it's not me, Mr. Inspector" or "don't touch me, I've had surgery".
I welcome the quick arrest of the six "muds", and I demand and wait for them to arrest the others. I also hope that justice will be swift, although I know that years of harassment of the attacked journalists in prosecutors' offices and courts will follow. I wish everyone, and especially the one who threatened to kill Boris "with his bare hands", an unpleasant and long stay in an institution with bars, whichever one. To make it easier for them to fall for the blank, Metodije could make, consecrate and take a statue of Pavle Đurišić to everyone. Instead of any icon, because he put the war criminal in a barbarian with saints in a church in Gornji Zaostar. There is nothing Christian about it.
