Komnenić: Perović continues to use empty words and avoid the substantive debate

Journalist and editor of the show "Načisto" on TV Vijesti, Petar Komnenić, said that priest Gojko Perović continues to use empty words and avoid the substantive discussion.

"Just as his "heroes and anti-fascists" fled from Allied forces in 1945, along with the Ustashas and the German army.

He proves once again that he cares about the truth as much as the church cares about reconciliation. And he confirms that the revisionist clergy only listens to the echoes of the malicious speeches with which they poison the flock with the aim of equating fascists and anti-fascists, traitors and the liberation movement.

"Heroes" of the Serbian Orthodox Church

The "modern and progressive face" of the Serbian Orthodox Church did not respond to the offer to present relevant historical material proving the anti-fascism and heroism of the butcher Pavle Đurišić, collaborator and ethnic cleanser, whose monument the church today blesses and hides in the monasteries where, a few years ago, Metropolitan Amfilohije offered refuge to Đurišić's ideological follower and convicted war criminal Radovan Karadžić.

"I said: Radovan, if you need somewhere to hide for a while, come to Montenegro. Outlaws have been hiding here since time immemorial," the late head of the Serbian Orthodox Church once opened his heart, noting that there was nothing objectionable about him doing so at a time when the rest of the world was searching for another Serbian Orthodox "hero of invincible character" who ended up appearing disguised as a fortune teller.

Therefore, it is not surprising that his student, priest Perović, in his latest revisionist treatise, does not refer to the abundance of relevant historical sources - photographs, recordings, quotes, war reports - which irrefutably prove the criminal and collaborative role of the bloodthirsty murderers whom the church is trying at all costs to put in the alley of saints and great men.

The Serbian Orthodox Church has been doing this for decades - despite evidence and verdicts. With the obvious intention of keeping alive the national-chauvinist ideology that it actively propagated in both World War II and the wars of the 1990s.

Canonization of murderers

I won't repeat myself, but it should be emphasized: priest Perović has again kept quiet about the canonization of sociopathic murderers - priest Mace, priest Šiljko - and he hasn't even explained to us how retired bishop Kačavenda, disgraced by documented accusations of pedophilia and pimping of underage boys, earned the recent prestigious recognition of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Glory and mercy to him.

The scandalous and anti-Christian practice of glorifying the worst of the worst renders meaningless the alleged intention of the SPC leadership to correct historical injustices and arrive at the truth by having “scientific institutions reexamine historical reports.” Therefore, priest Perović once again resorted to the tried and most deadly revisionist weapon – demagogy.

The priest, in his last address, states that "political freedom necessarily leads to a reexamination of the fundamental tenets of communist ideology, including the role assigned to this ideology in war history", emphasizing that Montenegro cannot and must not be an exception.

"This is a natural and logical process, in which the question of how democratic and humane the system established by the communists, as undoubted anti-fascists, was is deeply problematic."

Hypocrisy

Let's, for a moment, believe in the good intentions of priest Perović and fully agree with his assessment that this is a dire civilizational need. But, if this is the mission of the church, then why on earth is Perović's Serbian Orthodox Church pushing us in the opposite direction – under the auspices of Russia, the center of rigid Bolshevism, where, under Putin's rule, the most bloodthirsty red criminals – like Stalin – are being rehabilitated and glorified.

Here is proof that this is so. "I believe that our position regarding Kosovo, Republika Srpska and Montenegro also depends on the position of the Russian Federation on a global level. My wish, and that of the majority in our Church, is that in the future, if there is a new geopolitical realignment, we will be close to that Russian environment, in the Russian world," Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Perović's spiritual leader, wished in April in a direct conversation with Vladimir Putin, who extols the view that "communist ideology is very similar to Christianity"!

I don't know if it's heresy, priest Perović understands better, when the same Putin says that the body of the embalmed communist ideologue is a holy relic!?

"Lenin was put in a mausoleum. How different that is from many relics and from what was done with the remains of numerous Orthodox and Christian saints."

Priest Perović, are the Patriarch and the Serbian Orthodox Church not leading us on a satanic path? Are you pushing us under the wing of Vladimir Putin, who exalts Stalin, calls him an "efficient state manager", as well as his KGB chief Beria, even though they are responsible for the deaths of millions in the former USSR? If your Patriarch Porfiry and the "majority of the church" do not escape this destructive influence, will the faithful soon, God forbid, have to bow down to another Lenin as well as to the relics of Saint Peter of Cetinje, the hand of Saint John the Baptist or a particle of the Holy Cross?

Have you spoken out about this? Did you jump up like someone who had been burned and cross yourself three times? Or were you held back by the fear that Belgrade would send another airborne metropolitan, like when the head of Joanikije dared to support the students? Maybe you, even though you are already demoted, would get a counter-candidate?

Let's be serious: this hypocrisy reflects all the dishonesty of the intentions of the Serbian Orthodox Church, which sees the victims of the "communist knife" only within the borders of the former Yugoslavia. Although that system was Disneyland compared to Stalin's regime, which, by the beginning of World War II alone, according to independent Russian historians, closed or demolished over 30 thousand churches and monasteries, arrested over 160 thousand priests and monks. One hundred thousand were killed, including 60 bishops. Not to mention the millions of dead believing lay people.

Bolshevik Orthodoxy

And now priest Perović and the Serbian Orthodox Church are pushing us under the umbrella of Putin's Russia, which since his coming to power, with the amen and silence of Russian and domestic priests, has erected as many as 114 memorials to the criminal Stalin. Consistently, justly, principledly!

So, the Serbian Orthodox Church is not just polishing monuments to Chetnik criminals, butchers and traitors. This organization is actively pushing us under the umbrella of a regime that warns today's Europe, which the church is supposedly also watching, that Putin's offensive on Ukraine is irresistibly reminiscent of the Führer's beginnings.

"If Ukraine falls, Putin will not stop there. This is Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine - and against Europe," German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said recently.

And then the soft-spoken priest Perović teaches us about world and European trends. He also refers to the European Parliament, which in a resolution equates totalitarian ideologies – Nazism and communism. He only forgets to mention the EP resolution from 2022, in which the Serbian Orthodox Church is labeled as an organization that spreads malignant Russian influence in the region and sows discord in the former Yugoslavia by “developing biased writing of history and promoting anti-European programs.”

Priest Perović is also actively contributing to the revision of history. He once again lamented the evil fate of the wartime Metropolitan of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Joanikije Lipovac, who, as I quoted him in detail in my previous response, actively collaborated with the German and Italian occupation forces, cursed the liberation movement and the July 13th uprising, and, incidentally, congratulated the "soldiers of the great German Reich on their behalf and on their people" on their holidays.

Revisionist Gojko Perović writes that the MCP possesses four volumes of letters written by the Serbian Orthodox Church "priest-martyr" Joanikije Lipovac during the war.

"There are nice words addressed to the occupier, New Year's greetings, birthday wishes... but in almost every one of these and similar letters there are also requests for numerous people to be released from the casemates, for the condemned to be spared, for the starving people to be helped... One volume is missing, stolen from a NOB officer, whose mother the metropolitan saved from an Italian prison," writes Perović, alluding to Pek Dapčević.

For the uninitiated – wartime Metropolitan Joanikije Lipovac, a collaborator with the Nazis, an anti-Semite, an opponent of the July 13th Uprising and the spiritual patron of the occupation People's Administration, was killed after arrest and interrogation – without trial or verdict.

The Serbian Orthodox Church canonized Lipovac in 1999 and is persistently trying to make him into a "lamb of God", who died defending Orthodoxy and the church, despite his thick treasonous record and open collaboration with the Nazis.

A wartime metropolitan and a mother

For this purpose, the last conversation between Lipovac and Pek Dapčević is often misused, in which Dapčević, after his arrest, reproaches him for having disgraced the metropolitan chair in which, before him, great people had sat. Lipovac replies to the partisan officer that he must not address him that way, because, among other things, he had saved his mother from an Italian camp.

Dapčević's response is: "And that is proof that you collaborated with the occupier"!

This undisputed conversation has been cited by revisionist Serbian Orthodox Church propaganda for decades as proof of the Bolshevik unscrupulousness and purity of the Serbian Orthodox Church "great martyr" who, for five years of the war, called for a showdown with communists and insurgents, and glorified Nazi units whose crimes he never mentioned.

Since the venerable priest Gojko Perović insists that modern historiography should be based on context, we are attaching a document that the MCP could add to the extensive material necessary for establishing the truth and the wartime role of the protagonists.

In the State Archives of Montenegro, in the "People's Administration" fund, there is a letter from the Department of Internal Affairs - Department of Public Security, to the Department of Social Policy and Public Health dated December 17, 1943. Subject - medical examination of the mother of Peko Dapčević.

"Here in the town of Cetinje, on Hercegovacka Street, lives the mother of Dapčević Pek, a well-known communist. In order for repressive measures to be applied to his mother, it is necessary for that department to appoint a state doctor who will examine her health status with the aim of implementing repressive measures against her."

To translate, the occupation People's Administration, which its spiritual patron Joanikije Lipovac called "my government" in his New Year's greetings to Wehrmacht soldiers, demanded a medical examination of how much torture an old woman - Pek's mother - could endure!

It is not certain whether Joanikije Lipovac knew about this specific monstrous order, just as it is not known what later determined him to seek the release of Dapčević's mother from the Italian camp - a guilty conscience or the assessment that it would be good to have some trump card if his wishes to defeat the "most famous army in the world" - the Nazis - were not realized.

Somehow I suspect that this criminal letter did not escape Pek Dapčević, which certainly does not justify the fact that Lipovac was executed without a trial or verdict. However, this detail, in addition to the sea of ​​other evidence and historical material, further exposes the ruthless attempts of the Serbian Orthodox Church to reshape the truth and rehabilitate the miscreants and criminals from its ranks, following the example of their alleged mortal ideological opponents.

Therefore, I once again call on priest Gojko Perović not to throw dust in our eyes and not to dilute the debate, while the religious institution to which he belongs erects monuments to the murderers of women, children and the elderly. And while canonizing convicted murderers and collaborators of the Nazis.

The intentions are obvious, and the decades-long support of the Serbian Orthodox Church for ideological projects based on ethnic cleansing, mono-national and mono-religious plans of Perović's "anti-fascists" is one of the greatest threats to the future of this country, which Perović's boss Porfiria, in a conversation with the Moscow dictator, places on a par with Kosovo and Republika Srpska.

And while his Metropolitan Joanikije, the spiritual successor of the wartime Metropolitan Joanikije Lipovac, a Nazi collaborator, anti-Semite and opponent of the July 13th Uprising, sees us as "little Ukraine".

Finally, I must make a remark, priest Perović. You started this discussion because you are hurt by the “arguments of one side” that you have been hiding from your flock for decades. In addition to quotes and video recordings of your favorites and dignitaries, then and now, other historical sources are completely unnecessary to draw the conclusion that you have become part of a malignant, godless and revisionist campaign that is eternally in search of a new rigid, totalized umbrella – necessary for the implementation of your regional dark, national-chauvinist plans. Once you sought patronage in the Third Reich, and today in Putin's invasion, the hated Bolshevik achievements and Victory Day over fascism, where your champions are also regularly present.

That's why it's no wonder you ended this debate so abruptly and announced that you would no longer speak out on this issue. After all, the Podgorica forum is right. In the end, you always ran away. Together.

PS In his last address, priest Perović does not answer a sea of ​​concise questions, does not acknowledge the offered facts and indisputable historical sources, but actively disputes my claim that "truth has no versions" by teaching us that science has an entire history of its discoveries - currently established truths, which have changed each other, and most often denied each other.

"Einstein's theory of relativity, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, or astronomical insight into the infinity of reality, are the last words of the exact sciences," Perović lists.

I would not remind the priest again how the progressive church greeted the scientific theories of Giordano Bruno with a bonfire, but it is not a bad idea to remember how he personally assured us during the COVID epidemiological crisis that "through communion, no one will (and no one has ever) become infected who approaches this Holy Mystery with faith...", promoting the use of one teaspoon at gatherings where there were thousands of believers, including children!

Therefore, I ask Mr. Perović to stop referring to science, even though the church at that time, violating secular epidemiological regulations, still chose to leave dignitaries to the care of doctors, rather than to Perović's prayer.
