Evil spirit

US media reported that the name for the attacks on Iran was personally coined by the president. Tramp. "Epic fury". Nothing less. Of course, it's immediately clear what genre his film is in. What Trump sees in that formulation is clear from the way he pronounces it in numerous public addresses - as a Broadway announcement, or as Bruce Buffer when he announces UFC gladiators.

Or at least like at the Oscars, which he probably expects, just like the Nobel Peace Prize recently. That would be, let's say, equally deserved.

This word "rage" also evokes a novel Dostoevsky, also known here under the title "Evil Spirits". Namely, one of the privileges of growing up in the SFRY was that you often had (at least) two translations of significant works of literature. So we all knew that they Furies Dostoevsky, the same as Evil souls, or that it is Gone with the wind the one in Zagreb or Split read it as The wind swept them away.... It was also a small demonstration school of world relativism and even more languages. And then they came - the Furies or Evil Spirits, as you like.

The Russian "besi" (as Dostoevsky's title reads) also has an overtone of the meaning of "unclean force", which is a meaning that was important to the author as a political condemnation of the then current so-called "nihilism" in Russia. Hence, when it comes to our unique (and four-named) language, this translation "Evil Spirits" is probably less faithful, but semantically closer to the original title.

The word "demon" seems to be losing those esoteric layers of meaning that persistently accompany it these days. It is so overshadowed by current reality.

Reality has been abandoned to fundamentalists of all stripes, and the fantasy zone has painfully faltered and corrupted. Is there a more accurate sketch of hell? The zone of familiarity for every demon.

But let's get back to the unlikely Nobel Peace Prize winner. By the way, if he does receive the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo in the coming years, the award ceremony should definitely be held in Tehran. That way, he will best see the gratitude of the Iranians. Which he seems to be expecting.

Until then, the monstrous Demon of war and destruction is clearly visible. Wherever you turn.

And as soon as the evil spirit of a great war appears, mass deaths, they immediately see all the dens and channels... All the frustrated leaders of this world, as the ultimate "refuge", always see war. We will make up for and solve everything, only if we go to war, believes the majority (even) in the territory of the former SFRY. Which, bearing in mind the not so long ago experience, is just a phenomenon of its kind.

I'm not sure how wise it is to calculate with wars. Nor can it bring good to anyone.

The current prophetic possession of the President of Serbia Vučić, made him announce that three neighboring countries would attack his country. I am surprised that the president's media does not announce that the planned action was given the code name "Epic Coffin". For Serbia, which he will not give. And so on, indefinitely...

When will they attack? Sometime, in the future. Which is certain. Vučić expects a war between Europe and Russia, during which the corrupt neighbors will try to conquer (and what to do with it?) Serbia and who knows what else they are planning. But Vučić got ahead of them. He acquired the most powerful weapons and announced that Serbia is the most militarily powerful country in the region.

Our mother lamented, all together, about where we live and what a time it has become.

Evil spirits, definitely. Everywhere you turn.
