Friday, March 20 - This pre-election stand-up comedy festival, whose name, translated by the liberation authorities, means the fight against organized crime, is going well for us.

Because, unlike that cheerful group, the seriousness of public speaking obliges me to admit when I don't know something, I turned to a good English speaker for help with the translation.

Stand-up comedy, literally translated, is comedy on your feet, a specific form of entertainment in which a comedian performs in front of an audience and addresses them directly, standing on stage - that's how the artificial intelligence answered me.

And what are the main characteristics of this play for the audience, that was the second question...

- A comedian uses a microphone and tries to make the audience laugh through monologues, anecdotes, jokes, or short observations - the virtual translator immediately replied, with the additional explanation that stand-up comedians often improvise based on the audience's reactions during public performances...

Since when has stand-up become popular in our region - was my last question.

- For more than a decade, and the Opuč Festival in Montenegro particularly contributed to its popularity - was the short final answer...

I didn't even try to explain that the consequences of their comedy are not for laughs but for God's sake, because there is no intelligence, neither artificial nor natural, that would understand what stand-up comedians are doing to us in the Parliament and the Government...

The performances of the Police Directorate and the State Prosecutor's Office - arrest before evidence, indictment after verdict - are closer to the genre of tragedy...

Saturday, March 21 - Last year's withdrawal of the law on the National Security Agency and internal affairs was also a spectacle for an ignorant audience.

- They have not communicated well with the public - Andrija Mandić played his ignorance well, trying to cover up the three main flaws of both laws...

That they are extremely risky, unconstitutional and contrary to international standards of human rights protection, as all critics have claimed...

When the laws were withdrawn from the procedure, the opposition naively believed that this was proof that a critically oriented public had the power to stop autocratic tendencies.

It did not have one and it has not been stopped, although during the belated communication, that public told the proponents things that a dog wouldn't lick with butter.

The opposition had to choose its words, but for a smarter government, that would be enough...

The civil sector broke both laws down into simple factors...

The president tried to stop their passage by not signing them...

In vain, eight months after the withdrawal, the laws were still adopted...

The bad news is that even honorable police officers, due to party interference, will lose their jobs based on a tip-off from any colleague about so-called security interference...

And that spies, who in centuries-old Montenegrin tradition were an example of dishonor, were introduced into legal channels...

And is there any good news?

There are, and not one but three: Jusovača is not in operation, Mamula was sold, and Goli otok remained with Croatia...

Sunday, March 22 - Good news recently came from the Court of Appeal, the only one that can challenge the traditionally surprising rulings of the High Court...

Last year, 99,22 percent of cases received were resolved within 365 days.

Of the total of 496 cases older than three years, 455, or 92 percent, have been resolved.

The procedures lasted an average of 30,44 days.

Judges exceeded the annual quota by a range of 145 percent to 327 percent...

I...?

And then the President of the Supreme Court, Valentina Pavličić, asked the Judicial Council to dismiss the President of the Court of Appeal, Mirjana Popović...

Officially, due to "complaints from judges and civil servants" about her work...

Unofficially, there are many more motives, the most frequently mentioned ones concern the frequency of conflicting decisions of the Appellate and High Courts...

There are still no public details about why employees, despite the Court of Appeal's extraordinary results, are challenging the "way of working" of its president...

There is, however, something else - public questions about why employees only remembered their boss's "long-term inappropriate behavior" after a year and eleven months...

And, as Mirjana Popović claims, are there "other motives behind the dissatisfaction of colleagues due to decisions in high-profile cases"...

And the answers? Well, we'll wait for them until the Judicial Council decides and the president's possible dismissal...

And, after that eventuality, a certain decision by her successor or successors to release some high-profile detainees...

Monday, March 23 - The profile of the owner of the company "Carina" Čed Popović has been available for decades...

It is also known that some details of the business part of that profile were also dealt with by investigative state authorities...

It has been known for two years that a hotel is being built in the Bay of Kotor...

But that man would concrete the sea, and to such an extent that the maritime charts of the Bay of Kotor would have to be changed, well, no one expected that...

When I say no one, I don't mean state authorities, of course, because such a well-organized crime against nature cannot occur without the support of high-ranking state officials...

I don't believe we'll find out whose names, even if a new government comes to power...

Why? Well, because this one was new six years ago, but it didn't want to, wasn't able to, or wasn't able to solve any of the old government's organized criminal enterprises. They're only getting rid of one, and only partially because the convicted son is still on the run...

There is no doubt that the illegally built hotel will not be demolished...

Legalizing sea concreting is not realistic...

The problem is that even returning the coast to its factory settings is no longer possible because there is no miner who would dare to blow up such a mass of concrete from a depth of nine meters...

That's why the arrest of the owner of "Carina" is just another marketing trick. If the Prime Minister, the police and the prosecution cared about the law and the sea, they would have reacted a month ago, while something could still be done...

So, what are we going to do now?... Nothing, let's continue to entertain ourselves with the pre-election stand-up sketches of the so-called law enforcement agencies. They can't seem to connect the crime and the perpetrator, and when they get hold of one, the other one inevitably disappears...

Tuesday, March 24 - Consumer protection from fuel price increases has also been turned into a pre-election farce...

- Mr. President, I request that the URA proposal to reduce excise taxes on fuel by 50 percent be included in the agenda - this is how MP Miloš Konatar began at the first session of the Parliament after the US and Israeli attack on Iran...

And he continued for the next three weeks, trying to squeeze into the package of changes, which had already been rejected several times, an increase in pensions and payment of debts to victims of DPS's privatization...

It didn't pass, the government deputies were unanimously against it...

And last Thursday, the Government "adopted an opinion rejecting MP Ura's proposal to reduce excise duties by 50 percent"...

- The state budget will be jeopardized - that's how the executive branch justified itself...

Just 24 hours later, the budget was no longer threatened, Ura's proposal was accepted and excise taxes were reduced...

And everything would be as it should be if the Ministry of Energy hadn't put together a blanket of statements that even a congress of Slavists would have difficulty deciphering...

- The government has made decisions aimed at protecting citizens' standards and preserving the stability of the petroleum products market, in conditions of pronounced disruptions in the international petroleum products market - this is how they began...

And then they explained how "the decisions were made at the proposal of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, with the support of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, as well as based on previous analyses and consideration of fiscal effects by the Ministry of Finance"...

And that wasn't enough for them, so instead of a short news about more acceptable fuel prices, they sent citizens a study on how excise duties were reduced "based on careful and continuous analysis of global market trends, at the right time, neither prematurely, which could cause additional disruptions, nor with a delay that would have negative consequences for citizens and the economy"...

And all this so that during the pre-election stand-up comedy festival, "Vlasi" don't remember that the excise tax reduction was first proposed by Ura...

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced two years ago that the first apartments within the Velje Brdo project would be ready for occupancy in the middle of this year...

Two months before the announced move-in date, work has begun on breaking ground for the apartments, which will have to be dealt with by prosecutors before the builders...
