THE DRAGON HUNTERS

My honey

Perhaps by watching “My Daughters,” Milo would best understand the price of his wrong choices. It would then be easier for him to conclude that his Aleksandar, like Nikolin’s, turned out to be a “snake in the bosom.” With the exception of Karađorđević, who managed to defeat and humiliate his grandfather, while without Vučić will ultimately remain just a footnote in Milo's bibliography of heroes of the evil age

Life is made up of wrong choices. The worst, or in terms of consequences, the most serious, is when you choose the wrong partner. For life or for work. Look at the weak Jakov, the head of state - ever since he broke his brain like the famous Mašan, his choices have been pure suicide. And then when he replaced McDonald's with KFC, then Ricky Martin with Milan Knežević, or recently, when he proposed politician Miodrag Lekić for a Commission instead of maritime law professor Časlav Pejović.

Before he racked his brains and made the wrong choice, moving from the right side of history to the wrong one, Mašan criticized the resolution on Jasenovac as a major failure of the parliamentary majority and a thorn in the side of the healthy and excellent relations with neighboring Croatia. Now he would do even worse, and for the sensitive topic of maritime demarcation, propose the “wrong” Lekić instead of the “right” Pejović. Or let's say another professor, Pipo Vučinić.

But let's remind ourselves again Milo - his choices are unbeatable. Wrong choices, of course. Since 1989/90. when in the historical game of chess instead of being the king he chose the role of the queen. Milosevic's, following the example of England. To make the right decision in 1997, and then after the referendum he returned to the factory settings. Choosing to stay instead of leaving, to devote himself to smuggling instead of business, to support Vučić instead of Tadić, to put himself back in the game instead of Lukšić, or the most tragic thing - choosing to emancipates Montenegro by importing propaganda scum from a neighboring country, to get what we see in Serbia today - a deeply divided and unhappy society, exposed to permanent brainwashing and verbal violence.

That's why Milo's biggest failed investment is the tragic Vučić, while Beba, Rectoresa, Boxer, or Dralje were just contractors. Đukanović invested the most in him, which is why AV is now giving us the most fierce return. But even today, six years after Vučić kicked him out, you won't hear Milo say anything bad about Alek. To the question that arises, why he is so reserved and doesn't mention AV's best student until yesterday, there are only two possible answers: some common interest, partnership, investment - or Đukanović is truly aware of the cardinal failure and wrong choice, and doesn't want to spit on Vučić because that would mean spitting on himself. That is, the work of his own hands.

While I was recently watching “My Daughters” in CNP, an incredible text by Maja Todorović, inspired by the direction of Ana Vukotić, this historical parallel also came to mind - whether, after the expulsion, first in Italy or later in France, King Nikola was aware of his wrong choice. To sacrifice his first daughter for the crown, and all this with the blessing of Mother Russia. Believing that Petrograd accepted the godfathership because of him, Nikola, and not because of his dark goals. Which the weakened king, tired of six decades of rule, could see long before the fall. When the “black hand” overthrew the Obrenovićs and installed the Karađorđevićs, and Serbia irrevocably turned from Vienna and the West towards Moscow and the East. From the perspective of Maja Todorović, who was 24 years old when she wrote the text, as old as her main character when she died, Zorka was the first and perhaps most charismatic child of Nikola and Milena Petrović. Determined not only by birth but also by personality to inherit the throne. One of the questions that the play opens or imposes is - if Zorka had lived an average lifespan, would she have prevented her son Alexander from brutally trampling her father, the dynasty, Montenegro. Although the king and father may have deserved it by denying his first child what is rightfully his - the hereditary crown, just because she is female. And it is hard not to shed a tear when the tragic events that follow are anticipated through the final scene of the play - the death of Zorkin and the death of the state. Symbolically expressed through the cry of the old king - My daughter, my son.

That's how it is with wrong and right choices. The wrong ones cost King Nikola his crown and throne, and the right ones, with Maja Todorović and Ana Vukotić, brought the CNP a play that has been playing for ten years. Even after dozens of performances, it evokes the same interest from the audience, the same emotions, and a few tears.

I don't know if Milo goes to the theater except when he has to. Or when Radmila is staging something. No matter how boring it is. If he hasn't already seen "My Daughter", he should now, when the play has entered its 11th anniversary. And MĐ retired. Not to mention on the drum. Written off by everyone, especially those he owed the most. Perhaps by watching "My Daughter" he would be able to best understand the price of wrong choices. It would then be easier for him to conclude that his Aleksandar, like Nikolin's, turned out to be a "snake in the bosom". With the exception that Karađorđević managed to win and humiliate his grandfather, while without Vučić will ultimately remain just a footnote in Milo's bibliography of heroes of the evil age.

You know everything else. And you've read the great Karl Marx: "Money destroys all human gods and turns them into commodities." That's how it was in 2006 when Bodo, Cane and Milo first decided to steal Vijesti from us. And when they sent a telegram from Vienna to replace a certain Dubrovnik native, Kapor, who defends Montenegro because he stands on the defense of media freedom and the independence of Vijesti, with an evil local. To replace him with "our" - the Greek Dral. So, again, the wrong choice. And more than that - catastrophic. That's why we won even then, even though the odds gave us little chance. So, no miracle happened, we were just smarter. And we made fewer mistakes. And it's been like that since ancient times, ever since the ancient Greeks wrote the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.

After two decades, some Greeks have once again been brought forward as frontmen. Behind them is AV. Or the Minotaur, a symbol of darkness, wild instincts, fear and confinement in a labyrinth of problems. From the canopy to the barrel. So everything is the same, only he is gone. That is, no one is farming him anymore. I'm thinking of Milo. Only Spajki is not making a statement. I'll call Siniša Mali to ask if he was thinking of him when he recently told the party leadership that a "trusted man" guaranteed him that everything would be over with Šolak's media by the end of the month. May, not June. It's like looking at a certain Kerim, who was drinking whiskey with Roćen in Grand, celebrating the imminent takeover of Vijesti back in 2007. Doesn't the very fact that we have been such a bone in the throat of all the powerful and their mafia bosses for all these decades, from Milo to Vučić, from Mandić to Spajić, that they try to subjugate us every now and then, doesn't that obvious fact speak volumes about the importance and greatness of what we have done?! For society, not for us personally.

Which, unfortunately, the entire army of Milo's wrong-headed chosen ones does not want to accept. Instead, they keep their fingers crossed or celebrate the alleged sale of Vijesti under nicknames and networks. That was the case in 2021 when they claimed that Šolak and Đilas were taking over everything, and it is the same today when AV directly opened its mouth to swallow the concern. Because if there is no Vijesti, then there are no witnesses to their betrayal. Society and values. What is the master from Belgrade riding on today. Who recently had some Informer blacked out for six months. And some Prva and Adria are under investigation. And no one asks where so much propaganda and evil comes from in a sovereign state. Where does the polluter that destroys and poisons the citizens of Montenegro come from, deeper and more dangerous than the Pljevlja Coal Mine. Even when you add a dozen radio stations, more than twenty portals to the aforementioned TV infrastructure... It's worse than in the mid-90s when a different Đukanović, younger and wiser, complained about Belgrade's excessive propaganda influence on Podgorica, explaining that when Politika writes something, the whole of Montenegro shakes. Three decades later, thanks mostly to Vijesti - it's not like that. Without them, it would be much worse. But, let me repeat, there will be a desire for them.

That's why the alleged patriots and fans of the blue sky and the black mountains, instead of greetings and congratulations for the alleged sale of the concern, should unite around something smarter and more constructive - behind the desire that this never happens. Again, not for our sake personally, but for the sake of society. But, thank you all. To all the Blacks and Montenegrins, to all the Greeks and Cynics, thank you Milo, especially the Minotaur. Nothing improves a man like a trial, small or large. What doesn't kill me makes me stronger."What doesn't kill me makes me stronger." That's what Nietzsche said.
