The opening of the exhibition of the members of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro who are under 41 years of age, entitled "26<41", will be held tonight in the ULUCG Art Pavilion, at 20 p.m.
President of ULUCG Igor Rakčević, MSc, points out that this arrangement promotes "members whose creativity is not sufficiently promoted through the activities of the association". He also says that the selected works represent different phenomena and artistic specificities.
"The current selection includes various phenomena, artistic poetics and local specificities that refer to global artistic events. This selection should be seen as competitive, but also through the prism of exposing authors who achieve continuity in their work", says Rakčević.
This exhibition opened the manifestation "Creative Montenegro: Days of Montenegro in Zagreb", which included, among other things, a representative segment of contemporary Montenegrin culture.
The following artists will present their works at the exhibition: Bojana Bogavac, Zdravko Beli Delibašić, Tijana Gordić, Milovan Kadović, Mirjana Marsenić Vujović, Ilija Nikčević, Jelena Pavićević, Đorđe Rašović, Adin Rastoder, Milica Janković, Milena Živković, Luka Sekulić, Vlatka Vujošević, Jovana Vujanović, Stefan Todorović, Tijana Todorović, Darko Đurović, Siniša Radulović, Marko Marković, Velibor Pavićević, Brigita Antoni, Anastasija Kostić, Maja Šofranac, Milija Stojanović, Tanja Topuzoska and Rade Vujacić.
The Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro is an indispensable institution that proudly gathers nearly 500 Montenegrin artists. This first modern professional organization in Montenegro celebrated its 70th anniversary three years ago and its activities are woven into the essence of the cultural identity of Montenegro, Rakčević reminded.
Organizers of the event are ULUCG and the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro.
