Miodrag Braco Stevanović from Nikšić has been friends with colors for almost 40 years, and landscapes and the female nude are subjects he does not give up. He presented himself to his fellow citizens with 27 works.
"He paints with his heart and for him, as he said, it is a moral act, the bliss of the soul. If you follow Brac's forest path, you can find it in the fall or step into the winter, but also warm up in an old Montenegrin house, cross the bridge, and maybe meet a fairy that jumped out of his hand. In his landscapes, the snow is so warm and the rivers are clear, the huts seem to smell of the past, and the pictures are alive. Looking at them, you become part of that story," said poet and journalist Dragana Mrkić, who opened the exhibition and read a poem dedicated to the author.
The installation in Technopolis, where the exhibition is open until the end of the week, consists of works in oil created during the last year during the artist's recovery from illness.
"The act of creation is therapy, painting helped me get rid of negative energy to a good extent," says the author.
