I surgically bark and cut anyone who makes a wrong move, especially from the ruling parties. I am not indebted to the opposition leaders either, said Goran Šćekić, whose caricature exhibition was opened on Sunday evening in the garden of the City Museum "Mirko Komnenović" in Herceg Novi.
He points out that the integrity of the person and the family was always protected through his works, and yet, through a satirical statement, the author clearly points out the problems and their causes.
The exhibition was opened by the vice-president of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Danijela Đurović, who pointed out that, although politics is an integral part of our lives, in the selection of exhibited works, those that concern the daily political reality were bypassed, and the emphasis was placed on the traditional spirit of our people.
"Before us are the testimonies of the times we live in, expressed without negative emotions and through the prism of humor, and yet, clearly pointing out the essence of the problem, and as the author himself says - with the aim to "warm, warn and laugh", said Đurović.
So far, Goran Šćekić has published more than 10 cartoons and presented himself at 16 solo and 10 collective exhibitions across Europe.
