The works of the artist from Montenegro, Anka Gardašević, were exhibited in Sarajevo, in the BiH Art Gallery on Thursday evening, as part of the "TRI" exhibition.
In addition to Gardašević, the Sarajevo public can also see the works of artists Miljan Vuković and Marko Musović from Trebinje at this exhibition.
"As much as social circumstances affect all forms of human creativity, including art, everyday events also determine us. These works are my reaction to everyday life, and one of the functions of art is to comment on individual experience. I commentate and create scenes as if everything has already happened. Seeing is a thought operation. Just how many sightings are there? My works are one possible way of seeing that can be true. By photographing myself, through a photo collage, I point to the inner, familiar to all of us, I point to the sameness of the other. These works are the materialization of the physically intangible, and that which can only be known in spirit," Gardašević wrote in the catalog of the "TRI" exhibition.
Anka Gardašević graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje and currently works as an assistant professor in the Painting study program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje. . She is the winner of several awards in the field of art. She exhibited her works at numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad.
