The young Montenegrin painter, graphic designer by profession, Hajdana Kostić, launched the artistic project "Let's Draw with Hajdi" intended for the youngest artists, which is realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, within the program for co-financing activities in the field of cultural and artistic creativity.

The project starts in September, it includes six YouTube videos that Kostić envisioned as creative and fun content for elementary school students, and within which she deals with topics such as family, love, ecology, entertainment, and each video will be posted on the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of Culture. . The goal of the young artist is to offer artistic content that will have a positive effect on children and encourage a sense of satisfaction as a result of the creative process and artistic results, she pointed out.

"The new situation with the corona virus pandemic caught us all unprepared, both the older and the younger population. She encouraged us to spend more time in our homes, think about things that are important to us and spend a large part of our time on mobile devices. Those who are most susceptible to content from the Internet are children. Our youngest population needs to be offered high-quality artistic interactive content that will motivate them to create and, by immersing themselves in their creative worlds, overcome the newly created situation more easily," says Kostić.

She points out that the child is enriched with new knowledge and insights, and modern technologies and free time should be used for this purpose.

"Despite the virus, creativity connects all children and a perspective is developing that the most important thing for development is to rely on one's own strengths and follow incentives from the social environment such as this project. Following the creative program, children will recognize that they have capacities and talents within them, and this program is their incentive to develop all of these things," she says.

The public became particularly interested in her during her "365" challenge, during which she posted one drawing every day on social networks for one year. Every day, the artist creates a work of art, and recently she marked two years since the beginning of the challenge in which she persevered every day. Kostić points out that creation and creativity contribute to personality development in every segment.

"For me, daily creation means intentionally setting aside time for yourself, for your creation, because I believe that in art, as in any other job, the more you do something, the more inspiration you have - you are more capable, faster, better, more dexterous," she says. and adds that children should be taught this from an early age.

“And there's just so much going on during the day. So many times we say 'I can't do it today, I'm busy today, I'm tired and so on' and that's how the days pass. For some, years pass, and for some, life passes in it. I'm just someone who doesn't want to let his days pass in that and I'm just happy, I want to progress, I'm happy when I know more, when I'm better, when I can give more to others, to create and provide". says Kostić.

Social networks have opened many doors for her, so her drawings are in numerous collections around the world, and she designed solutions for painting the urban areas of Podgorica, and she is also known for her humanitarian exhibitions.
