The independent exhibition of paintings by the academic painter from Bar Dalibor Ćetković was presented virtually, on his YouTube channel as well as on social network profiles. The installation "Antares" includes his latest cycle of paintings that was started last year during a two-month stay in Arizona, United States of America.

The exhibition is available through the website daliborart.wordpress.com, on the Instagram account @dalibordadocetkovic_artist, the Facebook profile of Dalibor Dado Ćetković, as well as on the YouTube channel of Dalibor Dado Ćetković.

Doctor of contemporary art theory Milun Lutovac pointed out that "the new works of the academic painter Dalibor Dada Ćetković reaffirm the truth that is at the heart of every great and sincere art: The picture of the world offered by the eye is not the picture of the world revealed by the spirit".

"The eye is focused on the play of appearances, while the vision of the spirit is all esoteric and metaphysical. In the paintings of Dalibor Ćetković, the boundary lines, if they exist at all, do not divide or separate the fields of the palette, but they calm, even out the benevolent spirits, and themselves, connecting the sides that, by chance, form a special whole. Dalibor's border is a seam, not a gap. By connecting the tonal differences, she holds the versatility together and keeps it in play, the game of paraesthetics. It's as if this focused creator is telling us that only by crossing the limits of our senses can we reach the binary passion, the fiery red and emerald green star Antares, whose ambassador he is on the taut canvas," notes Lutovac.

With creative intuition, notes Lutovac, Ćetković liberates the sensory world, which is not sufficient on its own...

"'Antares', the new cycle of paintings by Dado Ćetković is part of a large system... Dalibor Dado Ćetković masters the skill of a great artist who manages to depict a moving spirit!... Rhythmic and melodious movements in Dalibor's new paintings, which were made in combined technique with acrylic, oil, graphite and charcoal, are part of the creative and intellectual strength of this artist. Ideas, emerging from the whiteness and taking shape, offer the illusion that the image continues its expansion beyond the limits of the format in which it was given. Everything is in the magical band of the horizon that appears and disappears in that final stroke of the author's brush that, like a signature, rounds off the entire format of the canvas," noted Lutovac and emphasized that the emphasis is on freedom, intellect and dignity.

"Artistic expression, according to Hegel, has the role of conveying the inner form of the content and thereby actually revealing the spirit of the epoch that shaped that form. Judging by the artistic expression of the new cycle of paintings by Dalibor Dad Ćetković - our spirit of the epoch has found another of its great warriors. Dalibor ante portas!", concluded Lutovac.

Ćetković graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje in 2007 in the class of professor Marko Musović, majoring in painting.

He has been a member of ULUCG since 2008, and so far he has had 12 solo exhibitions and more than 50 collective exhibitions in the country and abroad. This year, Ćetković is participating in the international trilateral Interreg IPA-CBC cultural project Complicities with the sector group Design.

He announced that he plans to hold this exhibition in real gallery spaces in Montenegro, as well as beyond.
