The literary program of the "Grad Teatar" festival will continue tonight at Poets' Square from 21 p.m., and the guest of the evening is prof. Ph.D Vesna Elez.
"This year, as part of the literary program, we are marking two important dates for the history of literature. Namely, how they were born in 1821 Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky i Charles Baudelaire, whose literary interests, both in terms of themes and forms, determined the paths of later literature, we will mark these dates on Poets' Square. During the second evening of this cycle, "About Baudelaire's 'Flower of Evil'" will be spoken by prof. Vesna Elez, Ph.D., who published a book under the mentioned title in the previous year," reads the announcement of this event.
A day later, on the stage between the churches, the play "Martha and the Seven Fears" will be performed, according to the text Ivan Vuković, and directed Natalia Manojlović. The play is a co-production of the KUFER Theater Company and KunstTeatr in cooperation with the association BoliMe from Zagreb.
"When she came to the lighthouse, Marta felt that she didn't know how she felt and that she was stubbornly lonely. She carefully nurtured her dark thoughts, wallowed in her fears and without a fight allowed her own babarogas to disrupt her breathing rhythm. Marta thought that only she felt that way. She appropriated even the anxiety, took it all for herself, not leaving a single piece for me. Marta is both sad and happy, both sensitive and moody, both panicky and excited, both wistful and cheerful, both spirited and restrained. Sometimes Marta cries, sometimes Marta snores in her sleep, and sometimes she can't leave the apartment. Sometimes he is afraid. Just like me. Just like you. Just like him and her. But Marta said she was afraid. Marta said: it hurts", the play was written on the website ziher.hr.
The play features: Andreja Jandrić i Matija Čigir. Fears: Jerko Marcic, Sreten Mokrovic, Adrian Pezdirect, Alma Story, Angela Ramljak, Damir Saban i Petar Vrbanić Đula.
The performance starts at 21:XNUMX.
