Bulatović is remembered by the National Library "Njegoš" from Nikšić, which is organizing a new literary event "Carnival of Novels" from May 25 to 28, at which an award will be established that will bear the name of one of the most translated writers from this area, whose works are foreign critics. placed on a par with works Giovanni Bocač, Francois Rabelais i Miguel de Cervantes.
"The manifestation is dedicated to the concept of carnivalization in art, as well as the concept of an inverted image of the world that is at the basis of carnivalized and fantastic literature," the director of the "Njegoš" Library told "Vijesti" Bojana Obradović.
During the four-day event, Nikšić will be the region in miniature, and according to her, "through an unusual concept of promotions, presentations and lectures, literature will be illuminated from the aspect that connects the stage presentation with what the writer talks about in his work".
"Moderators-readers will try to lead the writer to discover the path he took while creating his work, which will result in illuminating the hidden creative metamorphoses that every artist goes through. The 'Carnival of Novels' will be organized as a four-day gathering with writers, professors and others creators who will have the opportunity to socialize with fans of both carnivalized and fantastic literature, as well as any other literature," said Obradović.
On the first day of the festival, the "Miodrag Bulatović" literary award will be announced, which will be awarded next year, and then prof. Ph.D Petar Pijanovic give an introductory lecture. On the second day of the festival, prof. Ph.D Tatjana Đurišić Bečanović and M.Sc Tamara Pejović Labudović will hold a lecture dedicated to Pijanović and his work entitled "Grotesque Image of the World".
A performance entitled "Literature in disguise" will be performed on the third day of the festival by members of the "L'avant garde" drama section of the Nikšić High School, while on the same day, in the evening, a novel will be promoted. Zoran Živković "Library". The event ends with the promotion of the novel "Okretište" Damir Karakas.
Miodrag Bulatović's daughter will also be a guest of the festival. Barbara, which will have two installations - "Hear" and "Three critics".
