The traditional book fair, the twenty-first in a row, will be officially opened tonight at Ulcinj's Pristan.
The international event "Book Fair - Ulcinj 2022" will be officially opened this year by the Minister of Culture and Media of Montenegro Maša Vlaović, the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kosovo Hajrulah Ceka and the Minister of Education and Science of North Macedonia Jeton Shaqiri.
"It will surely be an opportunity for them to talk in Ulcinj about strengthening mutual cooperation in the field of culture between our countries", according to the announcement of TO Ulcinj.
The book fair, which will last five days, is organized by the Municipality of Ulcinj, the Tourist Organization of Ulcinj, the Book and Promotion Institute from Tirana and the Ulcinj Culture Center.
"During the duration of the fair, i.e. July 30 starting at 21.00:XNUMX p.m. on the terrace of the Albatros Hotel, a literary evening dedicated to Balša Brković and Fatmir Toči will be organized, after which a cocktail will be prepared for all present," the announcement reads.
The fair has been organized in Ulcinj since 2001 and exhibitors from Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries of the region regularly participate in it.
Until now, the book fair has been opened by the most famous names in literature, as well as the leaders of the states of Montenegro and Albania, namely President Filip Vujanović, Rexhep Mejdani, Aleksander Mojsiu, Bamir Topi, and several ministers of culture and education from the countries of the region.
