The President of the Municipality of Tivat Željko Komnenović today hosted prominent literary creators from Gračanica and Kosovska Mitrovica, who are staying in Boka Kotorska from September 8 to 10, as part of the promotion of the anthology entitled "Irresistible Difficulty of Existence".
To the audience in Tivat on Saturday, the 10th. in September, Aleksandar Dunđerin, author of the anthology "The Irresistible Difficulty of Existence", will present himself; Živojin Rakočević, poet, journalist and president of the Association of Journalists of Serbia; Novica Sovrlić, poet and president of the Association of Writers of Kosovo and Metohija and vice-president of the Association of Writers of Serbia; Žarko Milenković, poet, critic and editor; Ivana Vanovac, journalist and writer; Miljana Dunđerin, fine artist and cultural worker.
In addition to them, the reception was attended by Rastko Šejić, the president of the Association "Šta hoćeš", who, together with Matica Boke, is the organizer of the event.
Apart from Tivat, literary creators from Kosovo presented themselves at literary evenings in Herceg Novi and Kotor.
"Mayor Komnenović welcomed the visiting artists, stressing that the development of culture in Tivat is one of the strategic goals and that initiatives for regional cooperation and exchange in the field of cultural work are always welcome," announced the local administration of Tivat, noting that the reception in the cabinet was also attended by the Vice President of the Municipality Vladimir Arsić, as well as the Secretary for Social Activities Borka Mršulja.
The author of the anthology, Aleksandar Dunđerin, stated that they were pleased to accept Matica Boka's invitation to promote the book, which included the works of seventeen artists.
He pointed out that these events are "an opportunity for the general public to become familiar with the diversity and richness of contemporary literature in Kosovo and Metohija".
On Saturday, September 10, starting at 20 p.m., "The Irresistible Difficulty of Existence" will be presented in Tivat, in the parish house of the Church of Saint Sava, and the authors will be hosted by the mayor of the municipality, Željko Komnenović.
The organizers of the event are Matica Boke and the Association "Šta hoćeš" in cooperation with the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" from Kotor and JU Museums and Galleries of Herceg Novi, with the patronage of the Municipality of Tivat, the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Municipality of Kotor and the Tourist Organization of Kotor.
