"Milijana Vujović's artistic creation moves between poetic fantasy, which has realistic incentives, and surrealism. The landscape, as an inspiring starting point, runs through Milijana's painting, as a "reason" for artistic research of visual relationships - color and light, perspective and perception, matter and space. He uses elements of nature: grass, stone, sky, what represents part of the irresistible beauty of the Mediterranean climate in which he creates. Hence, her visions are drenched in strong, magical light, sometimes unusually colored," wrote Duletić.

She pointed out that the artist easily pours on paper the "wonderful glow of the climate and the gift of her own energy".

"On the one hand, the painter fills our senses by giving us picture-stories about the environments of her climate, while on the other hand she penetrates into the structure of her paintings, setting new perspectives and building spatial relationships within a solid linear grid. There is no movement and dynamics in these paintings, but some of melancholic unstoppableness. Hence the impression of timelessness, metaphysical feeling and dreamy meditativeness that permeates Milijana's "magical landscapes" - lyrical, but emptied and deserted," writes Duletić.

Milijana Vujović was born in Podgorica in 1973. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cetinje in 1996 in the professor's class Smaila Karaila, painting department. She had several solo and group presentations in the country and abroad.
