The exhibition of the works of artists of the members of the non-governmental organization "Slikarski Uranak" was opened on Sunday evening in Podgorica, in the "New Space" gallery, in Vučedolska street number 3. The exhibition was opened on behalf of the organization by an academician and a member of the NGO Nikola Nenezic pointing out that it is an "exhibition of love and joy".

Their works, with different motifs and in different techniques, were presented by: Tinda Bulatović, Anka Božović, Jelena Vušurović Ana Šofranac, Beba Spaić, Cedomir Ilić, Darinka Živković, Jasmina Cirković, Jasminka Bogićević, Olivera Knežević, Koviljka Raoić, Lazar Bojović, Milenko Vujošević, Mirjana Đurić Blagojević, Nata Radunović, Natalija Novaković, Nataša Bulatović , Olga Bajagić, Ranko Pavićević, Vesna Begović, Vesna Milić, Zoraida Raspopović, Snežana Đurišić, Vesna Barac and Nikola Nenezić.

"Forts, monasteries, treasuries, mosques, cathedrals, springs, lakes, mountain eyes, sea lagoons, gorges, mountain peaks, pastures, cans, medicinal herbs, are found on the canvases or verses of the members", said Nenezić.

He reminded that "Slikarski Uranak" was started 30 years ago, under the initiative Miloš Uskoković in 1993. Nenezić pointed out that at that time the organization represented defiance and spite, but also a ray of light in a time of war, demolitions, economic blockades, poverty, inflation, political insecurity...

"Such a cobwebby eclipse could only be illuminated by the uranak and its rays, which will be recognizable for 30 years, inviting the work, creativity and companionship of those who were ready for joint exploration in art from the fields of painting, poetry, and music. And it was immediately apparent that the joy of life is in work as a source of hope and optimism. Every beginning is difficult, including this one, which included about 15 creators from different fields who, with color, words and tone, started from Podgorica and all over Montenegro, and later from Canada to Australia", said Nenezić, welcoming the attendees and inviting everyone to visit the exhibition in an interesting gallery environment.
