Photos from the performances of the Montenegrin National Theater (CNP), by the author Duska Miljanić, are displayed in different locations on billboards throughout Montenegro. The billboard-exhibition is realized as part of the program marking the 70th anniversary of the national theater.
For many years, Miljanić has collaborated with the CNP, which in this way recalls numerous significant plays from his production.
The famous Montenegrin photographer grew up in Tivat, and has been living and working in Podgorica since 1995, where he perfects his photography skills at the Photo-cinema club. He graduated and mastered photography in the class of prof. Roberta Jankuloski. Since then, he has been professionally engaged in photography.
He participated in more than 80 group exhibitions in the country and abroad, as well as in several international art projects and workshops.
He had his first solo exhibition "Sky net" in the Atelier Josefa Soudeka in Prague in 2006. His most significant independent projects "Barvale" and "Faces of my time", "Invisible lives", were exhibited in several European centers and represent not only artistic work, but also the author's step towards socially engaged photographic projects.
He is a member of the international jury of Photodays Rovinj, Balkan Photo Sarajevo, Sarajevo photo festival... Participant, workshop leader and lecturer at several editions of FLUID festival and Photo fest Bar. For his original work in the field of photography, he won several significant awards at international institutions and festivals, among which the most significant are the World Association of Art Photographers FIAP in 2014 and the Sterija Award for Photography in Theater Arts in 2017. For the video work "Life after David" he received several international awards.
The billboard-photo exhibition project was realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media.
