In addition to the stories about the origin of Kotor and important personalities who created, studied and preserved the cultural heritage of that city, which were published last year, in the Kotor "Museum" edition, for the youngest readers, three new titles were published this year, and it has just come out of print and the creative block "Sketch the city".
"Sketch the city" is a collection of tasks for children, through which they show how they see their city and themselves in it.
"Draw your first carnival mask, the first boat for Bokeljska night, the Kotor square, draw your self-portrait and something that you consider your family heritage at home, then imagine the Lady of Fireflies under the sea and the fairy Alkima at the Fairy Gate", reads some of the tasks.
In 2023, Kotor "Museums" published the titles "Step by step museum" and "Archaeology for the youngest".

The book "Legends of Kotor" presents the legends of the region in a child-friendly way, explains what intangible cultural heritage is, and what is the difference between tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Some of the published legends are protected cultural assets of Montenegro, such as the Legend of the Origin of Kotor, the Legend of Tre Sorela and the Legend of the Love of Katica Kalfić and a French Soldier.
"We called the legends 'legends', hoping for a close relationship between the youngest audience and the book. That is why the need for the text to be 'friendly' to children and comprehensible at first," states the publishers.
The text of this book was edited by Milka Kolundžić, and the illustrations were done by Ana Rodić. The book was published in Montenegrin (Cyrillic, Latin), English, Italian and Russian.
"Legends of Kotor" received the Plaque for the most beautiful book in Herzegnov's "Trga od knjige", and the Association of Montenegrin Writers for Children and Young People declared it the Best Book for Children published in 2022.
"Kotor's Heritage Stories" was promoted by the public institution "Museums" Kotor in November last year. This book should provide the youngest readers with information about 12 significant figures from the life of Kotor who created, studied and preserved the cultural heritage of that city: Brother Vita, Lovro Marinova Dobričevića, Dimitrija Daskal, Jacinta Kunić Mijović, Tripa Kokolje, Miloš Milošević, Vide Matjan, Jovice Martinovic, Vesne Lipovac Radulović, Jasminka Grgurević, Zorica Čubrović, Nade Radovic.
The authors of the text "Kotor's stories about heritage" are Milka Kolundžić i Jelena Vukasović, and Ana Rodić i Dusica Ivetić they are the authors of the illustrations, design and overall artwork of the book.
"Kotor stories about heritage" are intended for children of primary school age, and are printed in Montenegrin (Cyrillic, Latin) and English.
The set of museum books published by "Musej" Kotor is a recommendation of the members of the Facebook group "New Year's gifts produced in Montenegro", which was created with the aim of promoting domestic production.
