Prof. Ph.D. Lidija Tomić is the winner of the "Trifun Đukić" award for literary theory, history, criticism and essay writing, the Association of Writers of Montenegro (UKCG) announced.

Jury composed of: prof. Jelica Stojanović, Ph.D. (president) and members of Assoc. "Lidija Tomić's book represents a unique gift to literary theory, history, criticism and essay writing, and it is important that a book of this importance is the first to be awarded within the framework of the establishment of the 'Trifun Đukić' award," the explanation points out.

"Literary spaces" represent a collection of exceptional and rare scientific testimonies and analyzes about literary trends, writers, cultural phenomena and occurrences, it was stated in the announcement of the UKCG.

"In the book, a very rare literary vertical is given because the time period from the Middle Ages (Serbian medieval literature) to contemporary authors is represented. In addition, in an analytical, scientific, well-argued and truthful way, the situation in Montenegro, the Serbian linguistic and literary heritage, as opposed to the falsifications of the last decades, are illuminated," added the UKCG.
