Research on the most perfect achievement of nature, the human body, through its biological processes, inspired by her own experiences, is presented by the exhibition "Transformation" by the artist Sandra Boskovic.
This was said by the spokeswoman of the Cultural Center of the Capital of Cetinje at the opening on Tuesday evening in Cetinje Milena Latković.
"In the immaterial essence of man is the intertwining of reason and spirit, while the body represents the materialization of that relationship. It is this phenomenon of the moment in which the body expresses itself that the artist tries to understand and explain," said Latković.
She pointed out that the artist's creative path penetrates into the reproductive depths and secrets that the process of creating a new life brings, on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
"Within those infinite possibilities, it emphasizes changes, such as: wear and tear, development, interaction of two bodies, development of one body inside another, life of the fetus in the womb, parallel action of spirit and body... A woman has the ability to create life. Her body skilfully preserves its inner intelligence, the power of which women realize during certain life stages that this cycle represents," added Latković.
The author of the exhibition, the artist Bošković, addressed the audience and expressed her gratitude to the Cultural Center for its professional organization, exceptional energy and good cooperation.
"In fact, 'Transformation' would not exist without the support of my husband and my children, who were the inspiration for this cycle. This cycle is of great importance to me and I hope that through tonight's interaction with the paintings you will succeed and experience it in your own way", said Bošković.
The nature of the female body is as complex as its function, adds Latković. She asks the question, is it possible to say that a woman is like that, precisely because of the nature of her body, and the being of her body? Everything is development, he answers, and then also transformation.
"Depicting the beginning of life, associatively includes the conception of cells and the outlines of the fetus, all with the aim of subconsciously activating images of life from the prenatal period. The works where fetuses are shown are imbued with the energy of the unconscious beginnings of all of us - a life we don't remember, but we lived it. It is a unique atmosphere of the unknown, which is expressed through its infinities," Latković pointed out.
The "Transformation" exhibition is the fourth one organized by the Cetinje Culture Center on the basis of a Public Call, with the aim of supporting and presenting young unestablished artists from Cetinje.
Bošković was born in Cetinje in 1994. He is attending master's studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in his hometown. He is engaged in painting, writing, video works and photography. Her solo exhibition is open until the end of February.
