Guitarist Petar Nikolić, ninth-grade student of the Art School for Music and Ballet "Vasa Pavić" from Podgorica, in the class of Professor Marko Prentić, was chosen as the laureate of the XI International Music Competition "Fantast", which was held from May 13 to 22 in Bečej.

More than 350 competitors from seven countries took part in the competition. Talented young musicians from nearly sixty music schools competed in playing the piano, tambourine, accordion, clarinet, violin and guitar.

In addition to this valuable recognition, Petar achieved great success in competitions in the country and abroad in the past two months. He won the XLIX Montenegrin Youth Music Festival in Kolašin (highest number of points in all categories), the International Competition "Čivija Guitar Fest" (Laureate category) and the International Competition of Young Talents Pančevo 2024 (first prize). In addition to the first prizes, he also won the second prize at the International Competition "Vojvodina Guitar Fest" in Novi Sad and is a finalist of the 25th "Guitar Art Festival" in Belgrade, as the best placed competitor from Montenegro.
