The largest film festival in Montenegro and one of the most important in the region, the 37th Film Festival Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival will be officially opened on August 23 and will last until August 29.
The program consists of more than 70 film productions from all over the world, and the ceremonial opening of the festival, which this year is being held under the slogan "All colors of film", will be held at Kanli Kula at 20.30:XNUMX p.m. The competition will be opened by the premiere of the film "Pontonovo srce" by the director Similar Šahmanović.
During the festival days, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy films in four outdoor locations divided into five selections, three competitive - feature films in the selection Vuk Perović are shown at Kanli Kula, documentary by choice Vladimir Perović in the courtyard of the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić and in the student selection Sara Stijović in the amphitheater of the "Park" hall, and two out-of-competition programs at the Forte Mare fortress - Kino Evropa, whose selector is also Perović, and the films of the Festival Network of the Adriatic Region.
