The traditional book fair, the twenty-third in a row, will be officially opened on Thursday, August 15 at 21 p.m., in Ploča near Pristan, it was announced from the office of the President of the Municipality Genci Nimanbegu.
About 19 exhibitors from Montenegro and the countries of the region will participate in the fair, which will last until August 50.
Nimanbegu's office announced that within the framework of the fair, on August 16 in the evening hours on the stage near the Native Museum in the Old Town, a promotion of the work of historian Italo Sar and Montenegrin poet Jelena Jovetić will be held.
Also, prizes will be awarded for the best study "Olcinium", the prose "Liburnia", the translation of "Cervantes" and the children's book "Olive Branch".
In addition to Nimanbegu, among others, as announced, the Minister of Culture and Media Tamara Vujović and the Minister for Human and Minority Rights Fatmir Đeka will attend the event.
In addition to the Municipality of Ulcinj, the "Cultural Center - Ulcinj" JU, the Tourist Organization - Ulcinj, the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights of Montenegro, as well as the Book and Promotion Institute from Tirana are participating in the organization of the fair.
