Lazar Dragojević, who at this year's 30th edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival received the Heart of Sarajevo award in the "Rising Star" category for his role in the drama series "I know how you breathe" by Jasmila Žbanić and Damir Ibrahimović, is the best representative of the new generation of drama creators and proof of potential our young artists, our theater and cinematography.
This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Media, Tamara Vujović.
"As a drama artist who is at the beginning of his career, I wish you to continue to contribute to domestic theater and cinema in the years to come, as an artist who is one of the recognizable representatives of the new generation of drama creators," said Vujović.
She wished Dragojević that his professional path would be accompanied by a rich biography of theatrical and cinematographic accomplishments in the future, along with interpretations of strong artistic and scenic integrity.
"Let this award at an important Festival be a good announcement for the success of the representatives of our film production at the Herceg Novi Film Festival, whose beginning we are eagerly awaiting from August 23," Vujović said.
She pointed out that one of the important missions of the administration is to create conditions that will encourage the development of film and theater, improve the promotion of our productions abroad and create conditions for young talented artists to continue creating in Montenegro.
"Your example shows that when it comes to talent connected with dedication, success and recognition of quality cannot be left out. Thank you to the SFF jury and Bravo for our Lazar," concluded Vujović.
