The frontman of the Serbian rock band Riblja chorba Borisav Bora Đorđević died at the age of 73.
"It is with sadness and grief that we inform you that our friend and brother, Borisav Bora Đorđević, has left us. Rest in peace, our dear Boki," the group announced on Facebook.
After severe pneumonia, Đorđević was being treated at the Clinical Center in Ljubljana.
Borisav Bora Đorđević, also known as Bora Čorba, was born in Čačak in 1952 and was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock group Riblja čorba since its foundation in 1978. Before that, he was a member of the music groups Suncokret and Rani mraz. He is one of the most famous musicians of the Serbian and Yugoslav rock scene.
