The exhibition of contemporary art from Germany "Future Perfect", jointly organized by the National Museum of Montenegro, IFA - Institute for Foreign Relations from Stuttgart and the Goethe Institute from Belgrade, will be opened today in the Montenegrin Art Gallery (CGU) "Miodrag Dado Đurić" in Cetinje , at 19 p.m.

"The traveling exhibition 'Future Perfect' has been presenting contemporary visual art from Germany for years around the world, pointing the audience to new questions that open up the future and searching together with them for answers to these questions. With a name that refers to the verb tense in English 'Future Perfect', future perfect tense, which indicates an action that will end in the future before some other action, similar to futur II in German or Montenegrin, the exhibition on all three floors of CGU shows the works of 16 artists who deal with visions of the future and speculations about the course of history," the announcement states.

Bringing together films, photographs, sculptures, objects, paintings and collages, the exhibition introduces visitors to different reflections on sociopolitical, economic and cultural historical and present-day phenomena in European and global contexts, lessons from the past, institutional policies, possibilities of individual and collective activation of public space, micronarratives and monumental symbols.

They prepared the setting Angelika Štepken i Philip Cigler presenting the positions of artists from Germany.
