The book "Dolphins do not exist" by an academic painter Nedeljko Simanić will be presented in Kotor, in the Atrujum of the "Nikola Đurković" Cultural Center, on Thursday at 19 p.m. In addition to the promotion of the collection of stories, an exhibition of his paintings from the cycle "Neobezno" will be opened on the same evening.
The collection of stories "Dolphins do not exist" is Simanić's third book published by the publishing house "Ouroboros" from Podgorica, and at the promotion, in addition to the author, the librarian will also speak Jasmina Bajo and editor of "Ouroboros" Natalija Djaletić.
The publication of the book was supported by the Municipality of Kotor through the co-financing of projects in the field of individual cultural creativity, as well as the Municipality of Tivat through the competition for the co-financing of projects for the publishing activity for the year 2024.
The exhibition "Optional" presents a cycle of paintings that illustrate the experience of the unique landscape of Boka Kotorska, and will be opened after the literary part of the evening, in the Glass Gallery of the Cultural Center.
The exhibition was realized with the help of the Municipality of Kotor, with funds allocated on the basis of the Decision on co-financing of projects in the field of artistic creativity in 2023.
