With the screening of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian film "Santa Claus in Bosnia" by Emir Kapetanović, the 49th Mojkovac Film Autumn (MFJ) - Festival of actors of the same language will be officially opened tonight. Outside of the competitive category, the Mojkovac audience had the opportunity yesterday to see the feature-length documentary film "This Good Country" by Vladimir Perović.
Actors from the films "Alive and Healthy", "Bosnian Pot", "Bauk" and "78 Days" will also compete for prizes. As announced by the organizers of the "Nenad Rakočević" Cultural Center, the film crews of those productions are also coming to the Festival.
Traditionally, this year too, awards will be given for the best male lead in a female role, and for the best episodic male and female role, as well as special jury awards. In addition to the monetary part, the winners will also be presented with a replica of the "Brskovski Groš". The jury, consisting of actress Ana Sofrenović, directors Branka Bešević Gajić and Draško Đurović, will decide on the best actresses and actors.
Accompanying the MFJ prograf will be, among other things, a creative writing workshop for high school students led by Obrad Nenezić, a workshop for children, children's theater performances, exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, drawings by Goran Ćetković, Zoran Obrenović and Marija Radusinović, screening of documentaries, book promotions for children…
As announced, Minister Tamara Vujović and President of the Municipality Vesko Delić will speak at the official opening of the MFJ.
