Promotion of the children's poetry collection "Lords of Dreams" by her author Savka Gudović Parađina, will be held tomorrow in Podgorica, at the "Radosav Ljumović" National Library at 19 p.m.
The book was recently published by the publishing house "Ouroboros", whose editor is a master of literature and Natalija Djaletić who signs the proofreading and review of the collection "Lords of Dreams"... In addition to the author and Đaletić, a writer will participate in tonight's program Olga Dabović Klikovac, and the moderator is a long-time journalist and spokeswoman Ivana Gudović. The event will be further enhanced by the children who will recite selected poetry from the book enriched by the illustrations of the nine-year-old Irine Barac.
The poetry from the collection "Lords of Dreams", pointed out Đaletić, is the poetry that expands the boundaries of the world of feelings and the objective world for children.
"The collection of poems Gospodari snova is a precious gift that reminds us of the magic of children's world and the importance of preserving the wealth of literary heritage for future generations. In Savka's children's poetry collection Gospodari snova, the ability to integrate the vast surrounding world into children's optics stands out. Every song, chorus or rhyme becomes a window through which children observe the world around them, giving them the opportunity to discover the wonders and beauties that surround them. The poems in this collection are overflowing with warmth, imagination, and understanding of children's emotions, creating a work that deeply touches readers of all ages," she states in the review.
Professor of Serbian literature and language Dragan Asanović, also one of the reviewers, noted that Gudović Parađina "with his verses conjures up a world projected from the position of imagination, so characteristic of children, but at the same time fills that world with the most subtle human values that must be confirmed and verified by life experience, closing the circle of the absolute".
"The author does not appear in her songs from a lofty position of knowledge in the sense that she imparts her life's wisdom instructively and dryly, in the language of adults, to children, but identifies with them, giving them space for freedom and imagination. Encouraging them to exist in that space, always adding a healing drop of adult care and love, and only then wisdom. Although the former is supreme wisdom and art, and as such the ultimate origin of the very being of poetry," he writes.
Writer and literary critic Zoran Djurovic in his review, he states that the children's poetry collection "Masters of Dreams" was created on the matrix of imagination, communicating in the language of the children's world.
"In this her first collection for children, Parađina searches by playing with words, but always thinking of the importance of the meaning of words. Expertly marks those phenomena in nature and life that are unavoidable from the point of view of cognition, not only for children but also for adults. With this, the author wanted to emphasize that our everyday life is the property of everyone, and that children have the privilege of enriching it with imagination", Đurović assesses.
He adds that the collection of poems "Lords of Dreams" stands out in terms of value from the books from the current production.
"Completely new in expression, fresh in language and original in subject matter, the collection clearly indicates that this is a creator who brings a contemporary spirit to poetry for children. The main feature of this book is contained in the game of imagination, which, one would say, is inexhaustible; life is seen from a new angle, moved from the previously stuck static and introduced into the living matrix of events", states Đurović.
Đaletić also refers to the complexity of poetry for children, but also to the depths into which poet Savka Gudović Parađina penetrated.
"She knows that children should grow up with poetry, because rhythm, expectation of rhyme, purity of sound, unexpected images, verbal play develop taste, a sense of proportion, tact, rhythm... Most importantly, she gradually develops a love for her own language and the skill of literary expression. Gudović Parađina also perfectly understands that poetry for children is not only a means of entertainment, but also a powerful tool for shaping young minds and hearts. Through it, children discover the beauty of language, explore the depths of human emotions, and connect with the world in a new and inspiring way," points out Đaletić...
Asanović notes that the poetess "with this book of poetry for children, with the indicative title "Lords of Dreams", is addressing a predominantly youngest readership for the first time"... At the same time, he adds, her poetic potential already reached a high level in the first book of poetry for children .
Asanović noted that the author's poetic subject becomes the property of various small beings from our environment, even objects that "we older people often don't notice, alienated in our molded lives and ultimately too focused on our existence, so that through them the being of the poem often emerges in humor and play, a message to the youngest readers".
"Thus, the very innovative poetic intention of the author to come to the truths of life, so endless in its appearance but at the same time unique, through humor, fun, and imagination," he states and says:
