Actors Ana Vučković and Dejan Ivanić are winners of the annual awards of the Montenegrin National Theater (CNP) for exceptional artistic results in 2024.
Vučković received the award for the role of Ruža (Katarina) in the play "I am she who is not", directed by Vito Taufer, the role of Kosa in the play "Death and her whims", directed by Lidija Dedović, and the role of Mrs. Linga in the play "Ibsen Machine". directed by Ana Vukotić, and Ivanić for the roles of Conductor, neighbor, witness in the play "671-Hunting", directed by Hana Rastoder, as well as the role of the Artist in the play "Death and its whims", directed by Lidija Dedović.
Ivanić thanked for the award and congratulated all the winners, and Vučković, upon receiving the award, read an excerpt from her graduation thesis in which she apostrophized the importance, multi-layered and complex nature of the acting profession and thus expressed her gratitude.
On the occasion of November 1 - Montenegrin National Theater Day, artistic director Vesna Vujošević Labović pointed out that the theater is a living organism that pulsates thanks to the energy and dedication of each individual.
"A big thank you to everyone in front of the stage, behind the stage and on the stage, who with their immeasurable commitment, creativity and effort make the national theater to be and remain a representative of Montenegrin culture, its guardian, its voice".
She reminded that the previous season was spent marking the jubilee - 70 years of existence and work of the Montenegrin National Theater, during which six premieres were held at Velika and Scena Studio, while the national theater developed and improved regional and international cooperation, primarily by providing member status in the European Theater Convention - ETC, with participation in festivals, awards, as well as the implementation of numerous other programs and projects that were seen by almost 30 thousand visitors.
For the results achieved in all areas of work and business, annual awards for 2024 were given to - Igor Damjanović, secretary of the institution, Biljana Radunović, financial director, Rade Lazarević, technical director, Dejan Đurković, director of production, Srđan Pavićević, head of the marketing department . , Safet Šaćiri, Head of Sales and Protocol Department and Jovan Dragojević, Head of Catering.
The status of honorary member of the Montenegrin National Theater is acquired by the most prominent members of the national theater, creators and collaborators for significant work and results achieved in the field of culture, which are important for theater activity. This year, actor Stevan Radusinović (posthumously) and playwright from the Republic of Croatia Željka Udovicič Pleština acquired the status of honorary members.
A certificate of appreciation from the Montenegrin National Theater for its contribution to the affirmation of the national theater was awarded to the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro for continuous cooperation and friendly support of CNP programs, to Miloš Novaković, head of the Scene, for his many years of professional and dedicated work and management of the service, which will soon end his work the relationship in the CNP and Milena Pajović, the distributor, who has been carrying out this job with responsibility and dedication for eight years continuously.
The "Velibor – Bucko Radonjić" scholarship, which is awarded to an individual for exceptional results in the field of theater scenography, costume design and fine art, in 2024 went to Jelena Ivančević, a set designer from Podgorica.
