The play "The Bald Singer" directed by Jagoš Marković and produced by the Tivat Culture Center, delighted the audience at the 8th International Festival of Chamber Theater 55 "Dani Jurislav Korenić" in Sarajevo, winning two awards, adding to its already rich list of awards, which now has 32 awards in 11 festival participations so far.
This year's expert jury of the "Days of Jurislav Korenić" festival made all decisions unanimously, and it was composed of Dino Mustafić, director, president of the jury, and members Jasna Diklić, actress, Admir Glamočak, actor, Almir Imširević, writer and playwright, Marina Katinić - Bakaršić, professor.
The "Dragan Jovičić" award for the best actress went to Olga Odanović for the role of Mrs. Borio. According to the jury, Olga Odanović energetically, rhythmically and linguistically precisely, in the Boke dialect, humorously and inspiredly creates the role of Mrs. Borio as a strong matriarchal character and the pivot of the entire plot of the play.
The "Zhan Marolt" award for the best young actor was awarded to Momcilo Otašević for the role of Mr. Lazario.
"Momčilo Otašević playfully and expressively shapes the character of Mr. Lazari with witty acting solutions and precisely controlled physicality," reads the explanation of the jury. in Belgrade and Podgorica, confirming its great success with the audience.
