Feature film "Ponton's Heart" by the director Senad Šahmanović, during December, it will be shown in 12 Montenegrin municipalities, announced the Network of Cinema Screeners of Montenegro.
From the first to the 15th of December, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy this film in cinema halls in: Pljevlja, Plužine, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Mojkovac, Nikšić, Danilovgrad, Kotor, Tivat, Bar, Herceg Novi and Plav.
"It is especially important to point out that, apart from Plav, these are cities where the Film Center of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media and local governments, successfully completed or started the process of digitizing cinema halls. We are pleased to announce that special screenings of the film will be organized in Nikšić, Bar and Berane, after which the audience will be greeted by a part of the cast and author of this production", the press release of the Network of Screeners emphasizes.
"Ponton's Heart" is a romantic comedy that carries a nostalgic spirit, but also a subtle criticism of contemporary society. Although seemingly a simple and easy universal story about love in different forms, the film portrays and shows the essence of human relationships and life...
"This production explores the themes of love, past times and values that shaped life in the former Yugoslavia," the synopsis states.
The roles are played by: Marija Labudović, Marko Janketić, Rade Šerbedžija, Stevan Vuković, Omar Bajramspahić, Mišo Obradović, Pavle Popović, Jadranka Mamić i Aleksandar Radulović. The film was produced by Radio and Television of Montenegro, and he wrote the script Antonio Gabelic.
