The "Days of Mirko Kovača" festival will be held at the Book Cafe in Podgorica on September 13 and 14, organized by Fokalizator and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media, and the program celebrating the character and work of one of the most important Montenegrin and Yugoslav writers of postmodernism will be attended by female and male creators in the field of literature, theater and film.
The program of the manifestation was prepared by a three-member organizational body: the writer Bozo Koprivica, the director Andro Martinović and a doctoral student in the science of literature Sanja Vojinović, devising a way to preserve the spirit of the festival from Rovinj, which stopped after half a decade in the place where Kovač rests. The fact that the festival was strongly supported by female painters speaks of the importance of that act Slobodana Matić Kovač, the wife of Mirko Kovač, and his writer friends Philip David i Miljenko Jergović.
The festival will have two prolegomena events starting on Friday, December 13 at the same time, in two locations. At the Book Cafe at 19 p.m., Bož Koprivica's "Crazy Book" will be promoted, and the editor-in-chief of Fokalizer will discuss it with the author. Vladimir Vojinović, while the Montenegrin National Theater will also premiere the film "Stanić, Stoleje" directed by Andro Martinović at 19 p.m.
At 19:45 on the same evening, the official opening will be held in the Book Cafe, with a focus on the exhibition of photographs from the life of Mirko Kovač. Video messages of announcements by Slobodana Boba Kovač, Filip David and Mirko Kovač will be broadcast, while the CNP actress will participate in the program. Ana Vujosevic i Sanja Vojinović.
The program "About Mirko Kovač from a different angle" is scheduled for 20:XNUMX at the Book Cafe, in which the writer will participate Srdjan V. Tešin, the director Branko Baletić, writer Andrej Nikolaidis and Sanja Vojinović.
The first day of the festival will end with a panel discussion at 21 p.m. "Writers about Mirko Kovač", in which Božo Koprivica will participate. Dragan Radulović, Balša Brković, Vladimir Vojinović i Dragana Erjavšek.
On Saturday, December 14, the festival audience will have the opportunity to listen to announcements on "Mirko Kovač and drama" at the Book Cafe from 18 p.m., by the director Radmile Vojvodic, directed by Stevan Koprivica, actor Svetozar Cvetković, and with mediation Vanje Kovačević. At 19:XNUMX p.m., the Book Cafe will host a panel entitled "Mirko Kovač and the Film", in which the director will participate Lordan Zafranovic, the director Misa Radivojevic, film critic Aleksandar Bečanović and director Andro Martinović.
A screening of the film "Foxes", which was filmed according to the script by Mirko Kovač and Krsta Papić, directed by Papić. This year's "Days of Mirko Kovača" festival will be closed with this program.
