The same values and status for all cultures can (not) be precisely for the reason that Europe is a continent - of spirit and mind, race and poetics, transcendence and market, metaphysics and museums, therefore: the supreme, irreplaceable arbiter that produces and at the same time signifies. However, leaving that stage, the modern world makes a big turn, and the stake that is maximized forces some completely different fields.
What, however, is being defeated today? That the EU is ready for a militant connection much faster and more efficiently, or, exactly as much as it is unwilling to do so through the multiculturalization model. Where there is no buckle through cultural difference, capitalism makes a link through weapons and finance aimed at persevering in the quest for resources and territory. Instead of the three-year war in Ukraine and the increasingly heated wars in the Middle East 'find' persistent negotiations for peace, advocating without rest for - a ceasefire - the EU becomes part of the global-military infrastructure, a bureaucratic microphone from Brussels that explains why it is necessary to persist in these missions, etc.
Let's put aside the question of valuing cultures (its strength is increasingly becoming, which is obvious, questionable, weak, facade), all the more because the current economic closure of many countries, with the arrival Trampa who presented himself as someone who can show, like Morpheus, what is really hidden behind the false reality of the mass media, and in what, in fact, is the state of the not-so-well-to-do America. - Strictly speaking, doesn't Trump act as a political epigon Orban!
Preparing, for the most part, for all occasions, a long and exhaustive, strategic economic war with hyper-advanced China will not end, but there is every chance that America will be isolated as it has not been the case in recent history. From there, it starts to deal with migrants, to build new walls, to carry out - of the empire's irredentism over itself. No longer, therefore, the pivot of globalism, in the future under Trump America becomes a global village within itself.
What does Europe do? Apart from restoring its symbols like any museum, and sticking to politics - we are a meeting place - it shows no ambition for autonomy, on the contrary: the way it treats the Western Balkans, it is always already harassed by the forces over it.
Without showing the need for incomparably greater independence, Europe ceases to be what it had to remain: the center from where everything is culturally networked, or, to put it in language Fredrik Jamesona - it had to be able to remain 'cognitive mapping'. Because, without her experience, the world approaches the moment of self-abolition; late capitalism perfects a technology that will not dawn after that the day after tomorrow.' That is why, perhaps, he is rapidly working on an experiment with an artificial body, on the intelligence of the metaverse maintained by a super computer that makes a link between our brains connected by thought, so that today we have two sides of domination led by NATO and Sillicon Valley.
If we respect the position according to which "Europe is primarily the history of the spirit", in the orthodox materialistic, calculating, operational state of the present, it turns out that - matter colonizes spirit. Since accelerated progress, on the other hand, necessarily requires quick (often, to be realistic, improvised) solutions, wars are a state of emergency in which there is a large redistribution of forces and power. The multi-polarized world will not be freed, but in return will even gain powerful power centers, all the more so that it represents a much greater danger, all the more before all the powers are looking for their share of the cake and are ready in every way to grab it. In this new capitalist configuration of relations, Europe evokes memories of itself, Europe is an epic, or, to be plastic: Europe is what Greece is today, grunting in debt.
Evropa has no alternative
Niche who saw far ahead, took a big step back, and directed the then hopelessly trapped Europe in the idealist-German discourse back to Greece, where the dawn of the modern world was born. However, far from understanding the Greeks, on the contrary: we are now misusing their ideas, starting with democracy, in such a shameless way that it is truly tragicomic. What Europe inevitably had to insist on was the opposite of the entity of homogeneity through the model of multiplicity, and yet, that did not happen, in the accident of the two blocs, it decided to take sides. If, then, America is the realization of the European principle, how did it come to be that it is now financially and militarily Is colonizing? So: it draws more and more into what is its exact opposite? Conflict instead of dialogue, work of capitalism instead of consensus? When is it agamben indicated this by putting things very simply (for the need to reach as many as possible who understand the role of the EU), the deafness was so great that the philosopher talked about pizza spices.
Let's raise a question here that cannot be postponed any longer: To what extent, then, is this phase of late capitalism actually destroying the spirit of Europe? Because its role rests on responsibility and the production of meaning, by no means on the force of the market in a trance. It is not a matter of whether or not it can compete territorially with the warring blocs, no: it cannot be what Europe, as it is now the case, attaches all political importance to! How can he invest his interests in currency and not in matters of value? Realistically, America has not been involved in politics for a long time - let's just take into account what the Democrats did and what they vowed to do, and that is quite enough, if we start from the fact that it is not so difficult to be better guy from Trump - as is equally the case with Russia, not to mention China. If we understand this global situation, it becomes clearer by itself why the domination is led by brutal senselessness, blind power, destructive dynamics that live from the already posthumous future.
Just as there is no European Union without the Western Balkans, there is no world without the EU. However, she must find the strength within herself to redefine her priorities, because her profit certainly could not and should not be. On the trail of that, if Europe can still invest efforts in thinking about the world as openness, it can correct it Socrates, and takes for himself: being too honest and producing politics. Otherwise, we are coming or we are already in a situation where we think of Europe itself as a utopia.
Without solidarity, there is no community, which survives as long as it has a roadmap, which means that the world is in chaos just because Europe is withdrawing, taking on an extremely defensive role, just as the solution is not Eurocentrism, nor is it imperialism that creates a new order which Varoufakis he calls techno-feudalism. However, Europe is and remains the only modernity, or we are out of date with the times we live in.
