Due to the declaration of December 23 as the Day of Mourning, the start of the Children's Literature Festival - Bookland has been postponed to tomorrow, December 24. The festival will be held in the Kosmos bookstore in the Master quarter, and will last until December 28, and the program will start at 13 pm every day, except for Wednesday, when it will last from 12 pm to 14 pm due to the performances of two authors.
This unique event, organized as part of the International Podgorica Fair, is an introduction to the large Children's Fair planned for October next year. Bookland is designed as a magical journey through the world of books, with the aim of encouraging the love of reading, developing creativity and imagination in children, as well as promoting literature. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 will have the opportunity to spend one school hour with prominent authors through interactive workshops, who will introduce them to literature in a fun and educational way.
The festival will host famous writers such as Branko Vuković, Žarko Žabac, Gordana Sarić, Milica Bakrač, Goran Ćetković i Ljiljana Milović. Through their stories and workshops, children will explore themes such as humor, fantasy, friendship, love, as well as moral messages and the importance of happy endings.
