The forum on the topic "Metaverse in the age of artificial intelligence", organized by the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU), will be held today by prof. Ph.D Starry Vukanović at 12 noon, in the CANU hall.
"The significance of the lecture on 'The Metaverse in the Age of Artificial Intelligence' is reflected in the creative and economic impact of the metaverse in the age of artificial intelligence, during which these revolutionary technologies will dramatically shape the scientific and economic life on the planet," CANU said in a statement.
Professor Vukanović will, it is added, individually analyze the mutual influence of these technologies on the other 50 most significant technologies in the media, software, computer, semiconductor, Internet and telecommunications industries.
Zvezdan Vukanović is a professor at the Faculty of Media, Communications and Creative Industry at the Canadian University of Dubai. He is a member of the Executive Board of the International Academic Media Management Association (IMMAA); he is a reviewer for leading global academic publishers, such as Routledge and Springer, as well as respected journals, including New Media & Society, Convergence, Journal of Digital Media & Policy, Journal of Media Business Studies, Journal of Media Economics, Management Communication Quarterly, and Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly.
His prolific academic production as an author, co-author, editor and co-editor includes a portfolio of 16 books and monographs, 81 book chapters, nine academic articles in international reference scientific journals, as well as a number of conference papers. In addition to his numerous publications, he has delivered 23 keynote lectures at globally renowned digital media and creative industry conferences (IMMAA, WMEMC, EMMA and GCA), at the University of Toronto, Fordham University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Abu Dhabi University, University of Athens, Westminster University in London, University of Lisbon, Lomonosov University and others. He was the president of the Center for Young Scientists of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
