She hasn't even unpacked her "poetry suitcase" from last year's travels, and the Montenegrin poet Gordana Sarić He is already continuing his travels, where he promotes poetry, love, peace, but also Nikšić and Montenegro.
"I am currently on my way to Brussels, where on February 6, 7 and 8 I will participate in the Peace Forum organized by the Belgian Society for Cultural and Diplomatic Cooperation with Arab and European States, with a visit to the European Parliament. In April, for the second time, I will have a poetic performance in Niš, as part of the Jazz Festival, organized by the Balkan Writers' Union, headquartered in Novi Sad, headed by Zoran Bajić"I have a lot of festivals in the region that I will participate in, and since my life is dedicated to culture and art, I happily go wherever they invite me," the poet tells Vijesti.
She emphasizes that the travels have not tired her at all, because poetry is her meaning of life.
She often participates in various online festivals, and only in those where she can speak poetry in the language of that country, in order to adequately convey emotions.
"They invite me to online festivals and I'm happy to accept their invitation. A great promoter of culture from Spain Ana Leon", connected me with Latin countries, so I have frequent performances where I recite poetry in Spanish and I get compliments from them that I speak it very well and that my poems are great. I also get invitations from India, but I don't want to participate because poetry is recited in English there, and I don't speak it," says Sarić, a retired professor of French and Latin.
Last year, she received numerous awards and recognitions, and she has continued to do so this year.
"At the beginning of January, I received awards, and I have many plans, because I am constantly working, publishing and promoting poets from all over the world, which is why I am the 'Diva of World Culture'. They recognized me for my work. I must highlight Prof. Dr. Jeanette Eureka Tiburcio from Mexico, the president of the Academy of Leadership and High Intelligence, of which I am the president for Montenegro. She presented me with major awards in Rome. I must also mention the president of the largest Union of Latin Poets Carlos Huga Gerida Chalina", a two-time Nobel Prize candidate from Peru, whose president I am for Montenegro, and from whom I received the highest awards," Sarić proudly points out.
From the aforementioned Academy of Leadership and High Intelligence from Mexico, at the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome, she received the awards - "Diva of World Culture 2024", they included her among the 50 unforgettable women of the world, awarded her the "Doctor Honoris Causa" award for culture and proclaimed her the "Leader of World Humanity".
"In the Senate of Rome, I received the 'Divina Mente Donna-Divine Woman' award for excellence in culture and writing from the 'Verbumlandi Art Society', which received a gold medal from the President of Italy. In Milan, I received an award from the same Society for my contribution to the promotion of universal values, peace and dialogue between cultures, and my award was presented at the evening of cultural cooperation between Montenegro and Italy, which I organized in Podgorica, and the evening was opened by the Italian Ambassador to Montenegro, Andreina MarcellaThe evening was attended by members of the Italian Parliament and the president of the Society, Regina Resta. In Spain, she received the "Art awards 2024" from the Academy of Modern Literature and the National Academy of Poetry from Mexico, while in Peru, she was named "Outstanding Personality - personalidad destacada 2024" by the Latin American Literary Union. In Morocco, she was named "Best influential personality 2024" by the Creative Literary Creators, while in Mexico she received the "Poetic Elegance 2024" award, and the International Literary Group "Lettras del Corazon" named her "Literary artist".
Sarić published her 25th book, "The Sky of Love," three months ago and continues to write and publish.
"Poetry is life for me, the whole world. I am completely obsessed with it. I write poems every day, 'smoothing' them, refining them."
