The play "Father and Father", based on a text by a contemporary playwright Neziraj token directed Kuštrim Kolići, produced by "Integra" from Pristina, will be performed tomorrow on the Studio Stage of the Montenegrin National Theatre (CNP), at 20 p.m.
The piece recalls the losses and more than 1.600 missing persons after the war in Kosovo and the consequences it leaves on their loved ones, the statement said.
"'Father and Father', initially a drama about the everyday challenges of family life, gradually transforms into a poignant story about a deep social trauma - a wound that remains unhealed and that traps the characters in an eternal state of uncertainty and pain. Through a captivating play of perspectives - those of the missing and those they left behind - this play brings to life the life and challenges of a seemingly ordinary family. From the initial image of the everyday challenges of Dini, who lives with his wife Sara and daughter Lola, we gradually enter a poignant story about a deep social trauma - a wound that remains unhealed and that traps the characters in an eternal state of uncertainty and pain," the announcement reads.
The roles are interpreted Ilire Vinca, Bujar Ahmeti i Kosovars KrasniqiThe play is performed in Albanian, with Montenegrin subtitles provided. The assistant director is Balaj's Blueprint, costume designer Njomeza Lights, stage designer Mentor Berisha, and he signs the music Worship Grezda.
The performance was organized in cooperation with the Center for Civic Education (CCE), within the CCE project "Education for the Future - Transitional Justice for Reconciliation", the number of seats is limited, and tickets are free.
