A film evening dedicated to one of the most important painters of this region, To Vojislav Vojo Stanić, will be held tomorrow in Kotor, organized by the Cultural Center "Nikola Đurković" and the Cinema "Boka". The documentary film "Stanić, a Century" by the director will be screened. Andro Martinović, at 20 p.m., and admission is free.
"This exceptional documentary brings a poetic and visually striking account of Vojo Stanić's work, through a century full of artistic turmoil, personal reflection and cultural heritage. The film not only presents the artist's biography, but also reflects on his contribution to contemporary art, thus representing extremely valuable material for all lovers of culture, fine arts and documentary filmmaking," the statement reads.
After the screening, they point out, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a conversation with the film's author, director Andro Martinović, as well as with an art historian. Radojka Abramović. They will further shed light on the significance of Stanić's work and the process of creating this film. The moderator of the evening will be Jasmina Bajo.
The evening will be completed by a performance by the City Choir "Nikola Đurković" from Kotor, which will further enrich the overall experience with its musical works.
